RE: Proof of Keys: My Exit From CeFi

Good read @joshman. Everyone new to crypto should read it, as it contains some hard but vitally important info.
I left CeFi sometime ago, overcoming my "inertia" holding me back from following advice to never leave my crypto on any of them - "not your keys, not your crypto" ... As much as possible (very possible with the number of apps / wallets they support), I move into and out of Ledger-backed wallets.
That said, CeFi does provide services. Ones which I still benefit from, on a limited basis. For example, the Crypto.com Android app is a painless "gateway" for getting fiat into and out of my financial institution of choice (a credit union). I particularly like how you can move stable coins, like USDC (my preference), into and out of a number of EVM-based blockchains. With very minor fees ...
I just make sure any significant funds are "in there" for as short a time as I can manage.
So far, so good!
Yeah, the crypto.com app and the debit card are a key tool in my arsenal!
