Flowers are a symbol of tenderness. Flowers will usually enjoy their beauty when they bloom. However, many people can also enjoy the beauty of flowers before they bloom.
Well this time I share photos of kenikir flowers that are still not blooming.
Kenikir is a type of wild plant that can be eaten. Kenikir can be processed into pecel, urab (kind of salad), and can even be eaten raw. In fact, from some readings it is known that in Malaysia it is known as Ulam Raja which means salad for the king.
High nutritional content can help to overcome digestive disorders, lack of blood and also overcome hemorrhoids.
Kenikir is currently cultivated as an ornamental plant in the yard. The various flower colors make the garden more beautiful. kenikir leaf green which makes the eyes more shady.
Kenikir is also used as a revogia plant. This type of plant can be planted in rice fields so that it will attract insects to take nectar. These insect predators of rice pests can then make kenikir as a place to live or nest. Bees, beetles, butterflies and other insects can be a pest control in rice fields. From here, it is hoped that farmers will not be too dizzy when leafhoppers attack rice because there are natural predators living in this revogia plant.
