This afternoon I saw four geese on the side of the road. I'm worried if there is a passing vehicle it can get hit. I immediately approached them and led them into the yard. The four geese knew me well enough that they obeyed and were not fierce. This is different if the person approaching him is a stranger or unknown. They can attack and come then chase us.
This aggressive nature is certainly one of the things to consider when we raise geese.

This trait can be good for a territorial guard, as well as a threat to people who are afraid of geese.

When someone approached they would make loud noises as if warning them not to approach their territory. If we don't listen to their warnings and dare to approach then they will immediately attack to protect their territory.

We have some farm animals. One of them is a goose. We have kept this animal for a long time. From a pair of geese then increased. In the existing yard we let them roam. Although sometimes out into the street. Well, in conditions like this we will lead you into the yard.

There are several reasons why we choose geese as pets. The advantage of having more geese is that we keep them.

Advantages

1. Meat
One goose can meet the needs of meat when a large family is gathered. It tastes much better than broiler chicken, so we will slaughter and cook goose as part of the menu.
2. Egg
Goose eggs are quite large in size. If we cook omelets we can choose goose eggs as an alternative.
In fact, in some people eggs that fail to hatch can be used as a ritual tool to ward off evil.
3. Feather
Goose feathers are often used as part of the pen. The pen with swan book makes it look more classic and traditional.
4. Natural alarms and guards
One reason that can't be forgotten is that swans make good night watchers. They will give a signal with a loud voice if something is considered dangerous. If a stranger or other animal threatens them they will make a scream.
They are so sensitive that even if we walk on tiptoe they will immediately notice and give a warning signal.
Not infrequently they also attack people who are not known to come to their territory. The cry of this swan can certainly startle guests or wake the owner.

Disadvantages

1. Serving a lot
Goose has a large portion of food. Fortunately, we have plenty of waste either rice bran, leftover rice or enough yard so that the geese can still forage in the garden.
2. Aggressive
This attacking nature sometimes makes children afraid. That's why we teach children to be brave. If the child is not afraid and dares to approach while holding the branch, the goose will also be afraid.

Given the benefits that we get more so we keep geese.
