La siguiente publicación la titulé ¿Eres de los que comparte su talento? Este título se me vino a la mente después de salir del jardín de infancia donde estudia mi niña.
Resulta que en la escuela las maestras y el directivo saben de mi talento de reparaciones y al llevar a mi niña a su aula de clases me detuvieron para preguntarme si las podía ayudar con la reparación del parlante del plantel.

The following post I titled Are you one of those who share their talent? This title came to my mind after leaving the kindergarten where my little girl studies.
It turns out that at the school the teachers and the principal know about my talent for repairs and as I was taking my child to her classroom they stopped me to ask me if I could help them with the repair of the school's speaker.
Este parlante es el que utilizan las maestras para presentar los cierres de proyecto y las actividades culturales, es decir; es una herramienta de trabajo que utilizan a menudo.
Como siempre cargo mi bolso con herramientas, les dije que se las iba a revisar de una vez y se alegraron.
Inmediatamente una de las maestras se puso a la orden para ayudarme en lo que fuera necesario.
This speaker is the one that the teachers use to present project closings and cultural activities, that is to say; it is a working tool that they use often.
As I always carry my bag with tools, I told them that I was going to check it for them at once and they were happy.
Immediately one of the teachers was on hand to help me with whatever I needed.
Le pregunté a la maestra sobre lo que sucedía con el parlante para tener una idea de qué tenía que desarmar.
Me dijo que el parlante prendía pero que sonaba una sola corneta y que sonaba algo adentro, como que tenía algo grande suelto.
La información me sirvió para desarmar la parte del cajón, sabía que no había ningún problema con la tarjeta amplificadora.
I asked the teacher what was going on with the speaker to get an idea of what to take apart.
She told me that the speaker would turn on but only one horn was sounding and that something was sounding inside, like something big was loose.
The information was useful for me to disassemble the part of the box, I knew that there was no problem with the amplifier card.
Al principio creía que podía tener suelto el transformador, personal detallar el parlante me dí cuenta que su tarjeta funciona con un cargador de 5vdc. Es decir que no tenía transformador AC.
A penas destape el cajón, pude ver el imán de una de las cornetas suelto.
At first I thought that the transformer might be loose, but when I took a closer look at the speaker I realized that its board works with a 5vdc charger. That is to say that it did not have an AC transformer.
As soon as I uncovered the drawer, I could see the magnet of one of the horns loose.
Pueden ver la bobina desnuda, o sea al descubierto y más abajo el imán pegado a la corneta de abajo.
Ahora me tocaba corroborar que la bobina no estuviese despegada, de ser así se complicaría la reparación porque tenía que soltarla y ese trabajo es bastante delicado.
You can see the coil naked, that is to say, uncovered, and below the magnet attached to the cornet below.
Now I had to check that the coil was not detached, if so it would complicate the repair because I had to loosen it and that job is quite delicate.
Afortunadamente la bobina estaba intacta y lo que sucedió fue que la pega con la que sujetan el imán de la corneta era débil, escasa y seguro que la vibración y el calor hicieron que la pega perdiera su propiedad y el imán se despegó.
Fortunately the coil was intact and what happened was that the glue that holds the magnet to the bugle was weak, scarce and I'm sure the vibration and heat caused the glue to lose its property and the magnet came unglued.
Ahora necesitaba pega para volver a sujetar el imán, aquí necesité la colaboración de la maestra, le pedí una pistola de Silicon caliente.
La pieza del imán tiene unos pines que encajan en los orificios de la carcasa se la corneta, allí le coloqué Silicon y también en el borde.
Now I needed glue to reattach the magnet, here I needed the collaboration of the teacher, I asked her for a hot silicon gun.
The magnet piece has some pins that fit into the holes of the bugle casing, I put some silicon there and also on the edge.
Al terminar de colocarle la pega a la corneta reforce la otra y volví a armar el parlante
Hice una prueba de sonido con alto volumen y no hubo ruido ni distorsión del sonido. Es decir que la bobina había quedado en su lugar.
Las maestras quedaron encantadas al ver que el parlante volvía a funcionar bien. Me sirvieron un vaso de jugo de guayaba y así me despedí de ellas y el plantel.
When I finished gluing the horn, I reinforced the other one and reassembled the speaker.
I did a sound test with high volume and there was no noise or sound distortion. That is to say that the coil had remained in its place.
The teachers were delighted to see that the speaker was working properly again. They poured me a glass of guava juice and I said goodbye to them and the staff.
Al salir del plantel me sentí orgulloso y agradecido por el talento que Dios me ha dado.
Creo que todas las personas que tienen un talento, en cualquier momento pueden compartirlo, así sea parte de nuestro trabajo en ocasiones podemos colaborar, ayudar a otros de manera desinteresada porque estas acciones más bien nos sirven para dar buen testimonio del trabajo que realizamos.

When I left the campus I felt proud and grateful for the talent that God has given me.

Excelente actuación en la escuela. Hoy tengo que dar una charla a unos niños que están trabajando en un proyecto de hacer jabón con ingredientes naturales. No es el primero, y me parece bien, salvo por la edad en que involucran a los niños en este trabajo que tiene riesgos e implica ciertas normas de seguridad. ¿A qué edad pondrías a los niños a usar el cautín?
Así que les doy toda la información y los involucro en todo, menos en la parte en que se emplean productos peligrosos, con la esperanza de que les quede el interés para cuando tengan más edad.

Que bueno ver que personas talentosas también motivan a los más jóvenes a sentir ese interés de hacer algo útil con sus manos y con el estudio necesario.
Mi hija más pequeña tiene 5 años, solo la invilucro con el destornillador y la limpieza de las placas. Considero que a partir de los 8 años pueden manejar el cautín porque tienen más agilidad con las manos.
Bendiciones para tan bella y prometedora ayudante. Lo que aprenda ahora siempre le será útil sin importar la profesión que elija cuando crezca.
Mis hijos ya crecieron, el varón, ingeniero en electrónica, se dedica a la programación y páginas web, la hembra, ingeniero en higiene y seguridad industrial, destaca en la poesía y puedes leerla aquí en HIVE como @isauris, pero se defiende a las mil maravillas con el estaño y el cautín.
