Sushi weekend

At home for my kids the weekend is synonymous with going out! To do something different and often that means eating something delicious and this time it was the turn of sushi! Our favorite food.

Hello everyone! It's my first time in this community so I'm really looking forward to sharing with you the weekend activities we do with family and friends!

I already took a walk through the community rules and reading some of the posts to know more or less how they are handled. I hope to be able to create good content for you about our weekend adventures although they are not as frequent as I would like hehe. But I will be introducing you to a little bit of our beautiful Margarita Island.

I am relatively new to Hive so I am still exploring and getting to know different communities and I have found this one that I thought was absolutely great because we can share our weekend activities, not only outings but how our weekend is going at home because as dads not every weekend you can go out.

We live in Isla Margarita and although we are surrounded by beaches we don't go out that often. Many times our weekends are taken up with taking care of the house, washing, cleaning, school activities, etc. But once in a while we find time to do something special.

So today I want to share with you our weekend outing with my husband and my two children, because at home the weekend is just around the corner and my oldest son asks the question "where can we go? I want to go for a walk!" It's something he does every weekend and I must confess that he doesn't always get the answer he expects because we have things to do at home or they have school activities.

But this Saturday he got lucky and the answer was "yes"! We really needed to do some things so we would take them with us to walk around the malls as it is something they like to do. But he already had a plan in mind and it was to go eat Sushi! Only he revealed it at the mall hehe.

When we left home the first thing we did was to do the activities we had pending and then we went to "La Vela ", one of our favorite malls. It is really very beautiful, plus the atmosphere is great. Quite quiet, which we like very much.

The kids immediately wanted to go up to the level where the restaurants are and I remember joking with them that they didn't really want to walk but to eat! The sushi at that place is super delicious and what better way to take advantage of the weekend!

The restaurants are located in a kind of food fair and the hallway where they are located was beautiful! We've been there many, many times and I hadn't noticed the lights on the ceiling and the reflection of them on the floor. It looked gorgeous.

It didn't take us long to decide what we would eat because the kids were already clear that they wanted Sushi! We didn't object as it is one of our favorite foods, so we went into "Bonsai ". A small restaurant that offers a great variety of Japanese food of excellent quality.

We took a table and were presented with several options to share, since there are 4 of us and buying the family combos would be less expensive. There was a dish that contained several presentations that we loved for the variety of roles and niguiris. So we ordered two of those but varied.

Going out to eat Sushi is something we don't do very often because it is usually a bit expensive, but sometimes it is nice to be able to treat ourselves and enjoy a weekend not only different, but delicious!

The place is quite cozy and I like it because most people decide to eat in the area of the fair and the restaurant is alone, so that gives me peace of mind because of the covid issue. And so the kids are also more at ease.

The food arrived and for me, who eats with my eyes, my mouth watered haha. One of the things I like about this place is the presentation of the food. Always impeccable and beautiful. It invites you to eat.

They gave us extra plates for the kids who were super happy because they had been practicing to be able to eat with the sticks without using the adapters. They are big kids now! Even Miranda was able to eat perfectly.

The food as always was delicious, we never have any complaints about this place because it is really excellent. The roles are very well prepared and exquisite. In addition to the attention that is wonderful.

We were very satisfied and satisfied with the food and we were able to enjoy a different weekend in which we were all pleased and happy for having enjoyed a special moment with our family.

We walked around the mall enjoying its beautiful spaces and the pleasant air conditioning that makes you forget for a moment the strong heat that is doing in the island right now hehe.

Every time we leave the house and spend beautiful moments like this we tell ourselves that we should do it more often and in the end the routine and responsibilities absorb us completely. But I think it's time to start enjoying life a little more and especially the company of our children who grow up so fast that we must make the most of every moment.

The house can really wait, nothing is going to happen if we don't clean one day or if homework is done late at night because time is definitely gone and there is no way to get it back. So let's enjoy our weekends with the people we love!
