Day 5 #hivearoundtheworld and although here we are not in the mood because in the morning one of my uncles passed away, and I have been between his house and mine all day, I did not want to stop my participation today and tell you about favorite public place, which is none other than La Plaza de La Asunción, one of the most charming places in Margarita and that you can not miss if you come to visit the island, because I'm sure you will fall in love with its narrow streets and colonial architecture. A beautiful place, with a special vibe.

In La Asunción square I have all kinds of memories, and I have spent a lot of time there, in fact since @elmundodemiri was 3 years old she visited it very often, because she had her extracurricular activities right there, at the Omar Carreño Arts Center and the Symphony, and while she was in her activities I was waiting for her under the shade of its huge trees.

There we celebrated her progress in ballet, and enjoyed her concerts.
enjoyed her concerts, we went to the book fair and saw exhibitions of paintings and handicrafts. We have also eaten delicious food, from hot dogs to 5-star ice cream, and not to mention Christmas when the plaza becomes one of my favorite places for the Christmas photo shoots I do every year.

Saturdays in the square are particularly busy because in the evening there is a fair of entrepreneurs where you can see all kinds of crafts and enjoy the most delicious dishes of our cuisine and also the typical sweets of our country, and that along with an excellent musical atmosphere create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy with family and friends. In fact it is my favorite place to spend quality family time.

In short, it is a simply beautiful place, full of life, art and history, one more of Margarita's many treasures.

Día 5 #hivearoundtheworld y aunque por aquí no estamos de muchos ánimos porque en la mañana falleció uno de mis tíos, y he estado entre su casa y la mía todo el día, no quise dejar de hacer mi participación de hoy y contarles sobre ** lugar público favorito**, que no es otro que La plaza de La Asunción, uno de los lugares con más encanto en Margarita y que no puedes dejar de conocer si vienes de visita a la isla, porque estoy segura que te vas a enamorar de sus callecitas estrechas y su arquitectura colonial. Un lugar hermoso, con una vibra especial.

En la plaza de La Asunción tengo todo tipo de recuerdos, y es que en ella he pasado muchísimo tiempo, de hecho desde que @elmundodemiri tenía 3 años lo visitaba con muchísima frecuencia, pues sus actividades extracurriculares las tenía justo ahí, en el Centro de Artes Omar Carreño y en la Sinfónica, y mientras estaba en sus actividades yo la esperaba bajo la sombra de sus enormes árboles.

Ahí celebramos sus avances en el ballet, y
disfrutamos de sus conciertos, hemos ido a la feria del libro y hemos visto exposiciones de pinturas y artesanías. También hemos comido delicioso, desde perros calientes hasta helados 5 estrellas, y ni hablar de las navidades donde la plaza se convierte en uno de mis lugares favoritos para las sesiones de fotos navideñas que hago cada año.

Los sábados en la plaza son particularmente movidos porque en horas de la noche se realiza una feria de emprendedores donde puedes ver todo tipo de artesanías y disfrutar de los más ricos platillos de nuestra gastronomía y también de la dulcería típica de nuestro país, y eso junto a un excelente ambiente musical crean la atmósfera perfecta para disfrutar con familiares y amigos. De hecho es mi lugar favorito para pasar tiempo de calidad en familia.

En fin, es un lugar simplemente hermoso, lleno de vida, de arte y de historia, un tesoro más de los muchos que tiene Margarita.
