Hoy tocó bisutería en el blog, porque aunque me mata la cervical la verdad es una terapia anti estrés, así que por aquí seguimos creando cositas para compartir con ustedes, y el día de hoy les traigo una pieza súper sencilla, pero un poquito tediosa de hacer porque aparte de repetir pasos muchas veces hay que conectar demasiadas piezas, y ya saben que a mí eso de la paciencia no se me da, pero sin dudas valió la pena, ya que el resultado es realmente bonito.

Hello, hello Hive folks! Today’s blog post is all about jewellery, because even though it kills my neck, it’s actually a great way to de-stress, so here we are, still making little things to share with you. Today I’m bringing you a piece that’s super simple, but a bit tedious to make because, apart from repeating the same steps over and over, you have to connect so many pieces, and you know I’m not exactly the most patient person, but it was definitely worth it, as the result is really lovely.

Se trata de un brazalete de cristales de swarovski con eslabones de cadena, una combinación que gracias a la cadena que usé combinó a la perfección con el brillo de los cristales, ya que cada eslabón tiene un toque de brillo único y terminó potenciando la luminosidad de los cristales, así que el resultado final es una pieza con mucho "glam" y muy delicada. Y sin más demora vamos con los materiales y el paso a paso.

This is a Swarovski crystal bracelet with chain links, a combination that, thanks to the chain I used, complemented the sparkle of the crystals perfectly, as each link has its own unique sparkle and ended up enhancing the crystals’ brilliance, so the end result is a piece that’s both very “glam” and incredibly delicate. Without further ado, let’s get on with the materials and the step-by-step guide.

Paso a paso/Step by step

Como pueden ver son muy pocos los materiales que utilizaremos para la elaboración de nuestro brazalete, y es que como les dije es bastante sencillo, pero en la simplicidad hay mucha belleza como pueden ver, y para su elaboración solo vamos a utilizar dos piezas, una de cristal y la otra es un eslabón de la cadena que utilizaremos, y para comenzar vamos a elaborar la pieza de cristal de swarovski y para ello solo vamos a utilizar un cristal y un alfiler de ojo.

Lo que haremos es pasar por un alfiler de ojo la pieza de cristal, cortamos el excedente del alfiler, dejando aproximadamente un centímetro o poco menos de un centímetro para crear un aro del otro extremo, y lo que hacemos es ubicar la pinza redonda justo en el extremo del alfiler y giramos sobre sí misma hacia adentro, y de esta forma creamos el "ojito" que vamos a necesitar para poder unir todo.

De esta pieza vamos a crear la cantidad necesaria de acuerdo al largo de nuestro brazalete, y recuerden tomar en cuenta que la van a combinar con eslabones de cadena, así que eso va a incidir en la cantidad de piezas que vamos a elaborar. En mi caso, utilicé once.

As you can see, we’ll be using very few materials to make our bracelet, and as I said, it’s quite simple, but there is great beauty in simplicity, as you can see, and to make it we’re only going to use two pieces: one made of glass and the other a link from the chain we’ll be using. To start with, we’re going to make the Swarovski glass piece, and for this we’ll just need a piece of glass and an eye pin.

What we’ll do is thread the crystal piece onto an eye pin, cut off the excess pin, leaving approximately one centimetre or just under a centimetre to create a loop at the other end, then we place the round-nose pliers right at the end of the pin and twist it inwards, thus creating the "little eye" we’ll need to join everything together.

We’ll make as many of these pieces as needed, depending on the length of our bracelet, and remember to bear in mind that you’ll be combining them with chain links, so that will affect the number of pieces we’ll need to make. In my case, I used eleven.

Lo que sigue, es separar los eslabones de la cadena, ya que lo que haremos es intercalar una pieza de cristal con un eslabón, y para ello hacemos uso de la pinza redonda y la pinza plana, y lo que haremos en primer lugar es ubicar la zona donde el eslabón se cerró y con ayuda de ambas pinzas lo abrimos un poco para separar los eslabones, y una vez los tenemos todos separados (yo usé diez en total), estamos listos para conectar piezas.

Once we have separated them all (I used ten in total), we are ready to connect the pieces.

El siguiente paso es comenzar a unir las piezas entre sí, y para ello haremos pasar una pieza de cristal por la abertura del eslabón y cerramos el mismo con la pinza.

La siguiente pieza a conectar sería un cristal, y para ello abrimos el ojito de uno de los extremos del mismo y lo conectamos al eslabón que acabamos de conectar y cerramos, y de esta forma vamos repitiendo el mismo patrón hasta obtener el largo deseado para nuestro brazalete.

Una vez tenemos listo el largo de la pulsera el siguiente paso es conectar las piezas para cerrar, y en este caso, adicionalmente yo decidí incorporar un trocito de la cadena de eslabones en uno de los extremos para que quedara una pieza colgando, cosa que la verdad me gusta mucho, así que lo que hice fue que en uno de los extremos abrí el ojito de la pieza de cristal e hice pasar una argolla pequeña, además de la pieza de cadena y cerré.

Por otro lado, en el otro extremo conecté una argolla pequeña unida al broche cerrador y de esta forma estuvo listo el "brazalete de cristales de swarovski con eslabones de cadena".

Once the bracelet is the right length, the next step is to join the pieces to close it. In this case, I also decided to add a small section of the link chain to one end so that a piece would hang down – something I really like – so what I did was open the little eyelet on the glass piece at one end and thread a small ring through it, along with the chain link, and fasten it.

At the other end, I attached a small ring to the clasp, and with that, the “Swarovski crystal bracelet with chain links” was ready.

Como pueden ver, no tiene mayores complicaciones y el resultado es simplemente precioso, muy femenino, delicado y con un brillo súper lindo, así que espero que les haya gustado y se animen a elaborarlo en casa.
