Last time I sold and used the cash to pay off mortgage.. not a lot but it made a difference to my life. This time I'm holding on andbuying low but I'm dead scared to do it and would like reassurance it'll go up again haha!!

I know, it's always that knot in your stomach with the "what if" - I think we are all in that boat at the moment. Surely it will come back, if we are now entering the bear market, it may be a while (most say 18 to 24 months) but there are also other things that are affecting the market at the moment that may be muddying the water (US citizens being told to evacuate themselves from Ukraine with immediate effect and the increased tensions between China and Taiwan) - so perhaps we aren't seeing a true entrance into a bear market just yet, perhaps it is a lot of uncertainty that is making investors change their positions...Most of this is affecting the stock market - we do know that BTC is still influenced by it - I suppose time will tell.
You know what? Selling your crypto to pay off your mortgage is not a bad way to spend your investment and I can imagine it made a huge difference to your peace of mind as well as your day to day. That's freaking awesome, well done!
