Ser o no ser
Ser o no ser he allí la disyuntiva
que nos lleva por caminos inciertos,
con turbulencias y sus desaciertos
que no deja ver las alternativas.
Flor sin abrir en capullo cautiva
como el oasis perfecto en el desierto,
amor iluso sin saberse cierto,
de caricias inciertas y furtivas.
La incertidumbre es la pesada carga,
nos vuelve la existencia oscura y amarga
es el ser o no ser con sus derroches.
Lo incierto con su pesadez descarga
y las noches de tinieblas alargan
el rasgar del alma como reproche.
To be or not to be
To be or not to be, there is the dilemma
that leads us down uncertain paths,
with its turbulences and its misfortunes
that does not let us see the alternatives.
Unopened flower in captive bud
like the perfect oasis in the desert,
illusive love without knowing certainty,
of uncertain and furtive caresses.
Uncertainty is the heavy burden,
it makes our existence dark and bitter
it is to be or not to be with its wastes.
Uncertainty with its heaviness unloads
and the nights of darkness lengthen
the tearing of the soul as a reproach
