The beauty of this mycena type of brown mushroom at the end of this year | Mushroom

Today's weather is a bit cloudy and today I have to go early to photograph mushrooms because I really like photographing mushrooms, because I think that mushrooms have their own beauty than other plants because mushrooms have interesting characteristics.

And hurriedly I entered the forest and as I was walking and I saw with his little family this fungus was growing very well on this rotten dry log and I believe this is a type of mycena because our area is currently experiencing the rainy season, so if the season is a type of mycena fungus very much growing in our area.

Maybe you have never seen this brown mycena mushroom and on this occasion I will capture some of the beauty that exists in nature, one of which is this beautiful and interesting mushroom, and you can see it below and I hope you all like it.

From the brown color seen above the hood, this mushroom has a very dynamic color character in this mushroom and is bright and people who see it will not turn away from this brown mushroom, and at that time this mushroom was waiting for me to take a picture and managed to photograph it with several angles of the shot very good even though the weather is a bit cloudy.

Mycena overholtsii, commonly known as the snowbank fairy helmet or fuzzy foot, is a species of fungus in the family Mycenaceae. The mushrooms produced by the fungus are relatively large for the genus Mycena, with convex grayish caps up to 5 cm (2 in) in diameter and stems up to 15 cm (6 in) long. The gills on the underside of the cap are whitish to pale gray, and initially closely spaced before becoming well-spaced at maturity after the cap enlarges. The mushrooms are characterized by the dense covering of white "hairs" on the base of the stem. M. overholtsii is an example of a snowbank fungus, growing on well-decayed conifer logs near snowbanks, during or just after snowmelt.Wikipedia
