Cape verdian sunsets taken from a sailing vessel

And of cause not all sunsets are fabulous BUT they still can leave a deep impression on one self and photography wise I still think I made something out of it. This was taken in front of the Island Boa Vista. Wave hight was around the 4 meters while the wind blow a nice 30 knots, so hard wind force 7.

I took this one very close to the Island of San Antao which is the westernmost island of Cape Verde. It is the largest of the Barlavento Islands group, and the second largest island of Cape Verde. The nearest island is São Vicente to the southeast, separated by the sea channel Canal de São Vicente. More about Mindelo
