My my my... I'm sitting in bed next to Mariah, who is on her second day of being ill. (Not covid, but yucky feelin' nonetheless...) Maybe I'm sick too, but no mere virus can make ME sicker than I already am!!! (Besides, I can still type and make bad drawings even if my nose is runny!)
Wednesday. Watching ghost shows on YoooTooobs. Great fun! Thought I'd take a moment to say, "Hey!" before I drop you into the heart of the ARTZ... (Last chance to turn back! And remember, dead folks tell no tales...unless you know a psychic medium or have a ouija board or you believe in spirit contact thru dreams or collective subconscious communication or.... Okay. Lot's of weird possibilities. (I wish I was more of a believer!)

Dear Diary (19 Feb. 2024): Today was supposed to be my yearly physical (to keep my medications up to date), and for anyone who KNOWS me, I am massively phobic about doctors and medical shit in general... Despite my utter dread when I woke up this morning, I DID manage to take a shower and, with my wife, Mariah, drove the 45 minute trek to Vancouver, Washington, to the clinic. We parked in the parking lot and, just about the same moment that I turned the car off, I got a call on my phone from the clinic. The doctor had a family emergency and thus I was going to have to reschedule my appointment... GOSH!
Oh well. Mariah is going to check her calendar at work tomorrow to see when she thinks we can reschedule my physical; (she has to go with me or I won't have the courage to actually go IN to the clinic.) Maybe my NEXT attempt will actually end my dread, but we'll see...
Jeebus.
