"Terror from Beyond Time and Space!" by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

I released a pdf file as an NFT not too long ago on Hic et Nunc (on the Tezos blockchain), and it seemed to work out okay. That's got me thinking...(never a good thing)...that I could write stories and sell them as pdf NFTs. (Why is "NFT" capitalized for me, but "pdf" isn't? Very confusing...) The point is, I could make stories into NFTs! Sell my horror and comedy and weird shit to other folks... Right? I could do that?

This is something I should do... Immediately...

Meanwhile, I already have a TON of artwork finished that I need to share with the world...like this junk!

"Monster"

[Felt pen, colored pencil, and crayon on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] Viciously and violently, the horrifying creature screamed into the night: "Hi!" Aaaaaaahhh...

"Mesomorph"

mesomorph (peg).jpg

[Felt pen and crayon on paper with digital embellishments and color.] He wasn't much good at "pumping iron," but Henley read a lot... I mean, A LOT! He read so much that his brain began to grow...and grow...and GROW! His body was absorbed by his cranium until... (Who knows what happened next???)

"Skull (Variations)"

skull (variations).gif

[Felt pen and paint pen on flat, wooden skull, photographed on a sheet of golden glitter paper with digital embellishments and color manipulation.] For this piece, I took a flat, tiny skull (approximately the size of a quarter---maybe a bit smaller) and colored it with a bunch of pens, posed it on some garish paper, and than photographed it. Next, I ran the image through the MOSH machine, taking a couple dozen different manipulated images and making jpeg files from them, then smashed these files together in a free gif maker app that came with my phone to create the joyful skull mash you see above! (I like it!)

"Federal Case"

federal case.png

[Liner pen on notebook page with digital embellishments and color.]

This is some "found text" from one of my journals along with an image of a creature (possibly a humanoid bug?) freaking out... The page (obviously) is a projection of the uncertainty and doubt that have filled the last few years...

"Void Times"

void times.png

[Digital comic created with a free app on my phone.]

Some ghosts are afraid to express themselves... Hidden by anxiety and self doubt, but a good monster isn't too meek to roar!

"Abstract (Concentration)"

abstract (concentration) (peg).jpg

[Various felt pens and brush pens on paper with digital embellishments and minor color manipulation.] As far as abstracts go, this one IS one. Psychic echoes of video-games of the past? I don't know. I'm a fan of "automatic drawing," where I just let the pens go and do whatever they want to do... They wanted to do THIS, apparently...

I think I'm going to call my NFT short stories something like this: Incredibly Incredible Tales of Horror or Humor or Something Weird! Sound good? (Maybe not "good," but... I'll work on it...)

Later!

Hello. I like the Skull the best. I read your article with interest. A good idea of writing a story, then .pdf it, including your artwork, and selling it on NFT. Something to think about. I think it will work.

Thanks for sharing your art.
