I be coming 'round the mountain when I do... I'm following those lights that I seen on the side of the mountain since I was a kid. I was told they were the spirits of indigenous peoples who are protecting their ancestral lands. My uncles always told me they were UFOs. John Keel, if he were still with us, would say that UFOs and spirits are the same thing (but not EITHER of the things we think they are...) And thus, I'll just go look at the mountain myself...

[Digital drawing over screen capture!] So, here's the deal. Because blockchains have a certain amount of permanence, I occasionally mark moments that I find interesting with cryptoart works. These are mostly ART MARKERS that I intend as something like notes on a calendar, but a calendar that won't get thrown out at the end of the year!
With this in mind, I have been using a new micro-blogging site (still in beta and not yet open to the "public,") that requires an INVITE CODE in order to shitpost on it! (THANK YOU, again, Bittty!) Having spent a couple weeks on the site, I finally received my OWN code that I can share with someone else, allowing THEM to join the new site... We'll see who I eventually give it to. Hey KIDS! The wizard is back...
My my my... I've been living in the PHYSICAL WORLD lately. Mariah (my wife / slash / boss) and I worked on POSTCARDS this last weekend, and that was GREAT! What you gonna do?
It's been a bit WEIRD lately, too. Since dumping Twitter for ethical reasons, I cut my primary online contact hub, and have found myself seriously disconnected... (Just like the song by FEAR!) ...in a way that I haven't felt for years. In a way, moving to Bluesky (which is a closed community, at the moment) is just like starting over from scratch. Of course, it took me 12 years to build up the connections I had on TWEETERVILLE...
So... I've heard a few friends of mine on the new site talking about going BACK to Tweeterz because that's where the money is... I get it. Nobody FORCED me to stop using the bird site; I did that as a matter of personal ethics. (I shy away from Zuck properties, too. When can I be COMPLETELY FREE of ethically questionable [to put it mildly] mega-corporations?)
Hmmmmm... I'm still making artwork. Still updating the MUSEUM OF POSTCARD ART site. Still trying to stay sane (that's a tough one!) And I'm still ALIVE, so what do I really have to complain about??? Actually, Mariah and I are pretty happy. We've been going places and doing things and reading books and listening to tunes... It's all about ENJOYING our time together... Ultimate values. Ultimate goals. Go! Go! Go!
