Making It Up (and Up and Away!) [Compilation post!] by Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool)

What if I went to a bunch of thrift stores and garage sales and bought several blenders and a variety of weird things to put IN the blenders (like marbles and calculators and plastic forks and...), turned them on, and filmed the spinning results. Then, maybe, I could borrow a cement mixer from someone (one of my cement mixing friends), and I created a bizarre, probably chunky, concrete with the blender debris to create a very unfriendly sidewalk... Would that be art? (Is the stuff BELOW art? YOU DECIDE for yourself. For me, the answer is "YEP. YEP. That's art alright!")
