You start something and if you get the result quickly, that will make you happy. In order to get the result, you have to have the skills and need to work consistently. It will not happen overnight.
People around you will say different things. They show you someone who is doing better and compare you with him. You may get distracted and think to follow a shortcut to get there. The question is, will it sustainable? You can make money following some shortcuts. Maybe it works now. When things change, it will not work. You will fall down and you have to start over. Sometimes following shortcuts can do more hard than good. You should learn some actual skills. Do something that adds value. You will do better in the long term.
