If you expect that something bad will happen, you will not be surprised. You have some ideas about that before. But if you have no idea about the situation you are facing, you will be surprised. In this video, I talked about how to deal with a surprising situation.
When you see what's going on, you have to assess the whole situation. Sometimes you don't get enough time to think and then make a decision on what to do. You have to make decisions immediately. You need to assess how it will impact in the long term. If it has no significant impact in the long term, you do not have to worry about it that much. You can solve it easily. In case, it has a negative impact in the long term, you have to take that seriously. You can do something to hold it temporarily. You can talk to experts in that field to figure out the solution.
