Ya está en camino un nuevo ciclo de 365 días. ¿Cómo vamos a vivirlo? Es una consideración muy importante que merece toda nuestra atención durante este primer día del Año Nuevo. Un buen comienzo será hacer una lista de todas las experiencias más destacadas vividas durante el año que acaban de terminar y agradecer el aprendizaje adquirido. Luego podríamos hacer una lista de los cambios que queremos introducir en nuestra vida, que constituirán las metas para el Año Nuevo; entonces nos comprometeremos con nosotros mismos para hacer nuestro mejor esfuerzo para conseguirlas.

A new cycle of 365 days is already on the way. How are we going to go about? It is a very important consideration that deserves all our attention during this first day of the New Year. A good start will be make a list of all the most outstanding experiences lived during the year that just have finished and to be thankful for the learning acquired. Afterwards we could make a list of the changes we want to introduce in our lives, those will be the goal for the New Year; and then we will compromise with ourselves to do our best efforts to get them.

¿En qué consiste este compromiso? Es un compromiso personal con usted mismo, porqué solo usted puede intentarlo y lograrlo con la ayuda de Dios. El compromiso es seguir intentando sin importar cuantas veces lo olvide o actúe mecánicamente con aquellas conductas a las cuales está acostumbrado a reaccionar y responder. Se necesita perseverancia para no rendirse en el intento, para lo cual debe tener condescendencia y paciencia con usted mismo en su proceso de cambio. Guarde silencio en lo referente a lo que está haciendo, porqué aún podemos ser susceptibles a las opiniones de terceros que pueden desalentarnos a seguir adelante en nuestro propósito.

What does this commitment consist of? It is a personal commitment with yourself, because only you can try and achieve it with the help of God. The commitment is to keep trying no matter how many times you forget or act mechanically with those behaviors to which you are used to react and respond. It takes perseverance to not give up, for which you must be condescending and patient with yourself in your process of change. Be silent about what you are doing, because we can still be susceptible to third-party opinions that can discourage us from pursuing our purpose.

Es fundamental creer en uno mismo; así como creer que ese cambio es posible. Siga adelante, siempre adelante, tenga fe en usted mismo porque es capaz de lograr eso y mucho más. Pida ayuda a su esencia interna para que le de la fuerza necesaria seguir intentándolo. A pesar de las veces que crea que no está avanzando, le aseguro que lo haciendo. Usted es más fuerte de lo que cree, ¡así que manos a la obra! No deje que nada ni nadie lo tiente a rendirse en sus esfuerzos, recuerde que es un trabajo interno, es su esencia quien puso ese deseo en su corazón; convénzase que usted está siendo ayudado en sus esfuerzos, aunque usted no lo vea o no lo pueda comprender en este momento. It is essential to believe in yourself; as well as believing that this change is possible. Go ahead, always go ahead, have faith in yourself because you are capable of achieving that and much more. Ask your inner essence for help to give you the necessary strength to keep trying. Despite the times you think you are not moving forward, I assure you that you are. You are stronger than you think, so keep trying and work for it! Do not let anything or anyone tempt you to give up in your efforts, remember that it is an internal work, it is your essence that put that desire in your heart; convince yourself that you are being helped in your endeavors, even if you don't see it or can't understand it at this time. Something in you is propelling you toward that goal, so trust it.

Asuma ese reto con alegría, siéntase feliz por lo que hace, usted está llamado a realizar ese cambio. Insisto, usted es conducido hacia el cambio porqué está listo para pasar por ese proceso. Compare su proceso de transformación con la metamorfosis de una mariposa. De cada huevo de estos insectos surge una larva, un gusanito, cuando llega su momento que está preestablecido, el gusanito se envuelve en un capullo y sufre un proceso de transformación y se convierte en una crisálida. Durante esta fase del proceso de metamorfosis de la mariposa las estructuras y órganos del gusanillo son reabsorbidos, y reutilizados para formas las nuevas estructuras y órganos que requiere la mariposa adulta. Un proceso similar es el que ocurre en usted, hay cambio de conductas, de en manera de pensar y las emociones con que reaccionamos a lo que nos acontece. Al comprometerse con ese cambio, usted es el equivalente a la crisálida, por esa razón la mariposa es usada como un símbolo de la transformación. ¡Su momento para ese cambio ha llagado!

Take on that challenge with joy, feel happy for what you do, you are called to make that change. I insist you are driven to change because you are ready to go through that process. Compare your transformation process to the metamorphosis of a butterfly. From each egg of these insects a larva emerges, as a caterpillar, when its time comes, which is pre-established, the caterpillar wraps itself in a cocoon and undergoes a transformation process and becomes a chrysalis. During this phase of the butterfly's metamorphosis process, the structures and organs of the worm are reabsorbed, and reused to form the new structures and organs that the adult butterfly requires.
