Market always a good place to buy and sell
Going to market you will probably see those goods (products) you have been looking for, market is a great place to buy and sell all you want.
So yesterday i went to the market to buy waterleaf and plantain.
I bought the waterleaf at the rate of One hundred naira #100.00.
The price of the waterleaf was a good price, that is how it is sold.
I wanted to prepare egusi soup so I thought that, if I add waterleaf, the soup will be good, as it is what I was looking for at the moment.
But going to the side of Plantain, I realized that, the price of Plantain is going up this days, the price was not what I estimated, but I still bought one bunch of Plantain, since I wanted to used it in a later time.
I was convinced when the seller said that, if you do not buy it now, the price of Plantain is alarming and may increase more and more everyday.
I was convinced with what I heard her say.
I bought the Plantain, at the rate of Two thousand naira #2,000.00.
But you know what!
I love it when I go to the market, because prices of products is always revealed to me.
On my way going back, I decided to buy a pure water, in a shop not far from my residence and i saw this guy, looking at me, like he knows me somewhere....
Lols.......
This is #marketfriday by @dswigle.
Thank you for viewing my blog
Did you get to make the soup and was it good? I like to buy everything fresh for dinner - just like that. Then you are guaranteed to get the freshest product. Did you see the plantains any cheaper as you went through the market? That seems pretty expensive, but, they are expensive here too. I had guessed it was because they were imported, but, perhaps the price really is just going up.
Isn't everything getting more expensive? What a cute little dog! He looks like he wants to come home with you! :)
#MarketFriday has evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? These are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue.
I appreciate your support of #MarketFriday! Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!! Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
Take pictures! Be creative!
As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
