Book Review: Adeyinka, written by Ezechi Onyerionwu

This is a book that focuses on the importance of honesty, it is written by Ezechi Onyerionwu and illustrates the reasons why war is not good to break out in a country, war could be caused by people who do not feel sympathy for the people from their town.

But Adeyinka, the man who we focus on never in a day, went down the same path, he was an honest man, who preached honesty to his people and was a good example, because when the time came, he did not allow himself to be bought but hd remains firm supporting himself and his people.

Adeyinka mainly said that it would not be good if he lived a life where his good could not be remembered in men's minds after he had gone to meet his ancestors, but instead wants to die as a poor man just to fulfill his purpose on earth.

For him wealth was never something he looked twice at but he focused on being honest, when someone around him tries to develop a selfish character, it was Adeyinka who spoke to him about the need to stay true to himself.

In this book, Ezechi Onyerionwu did not delve into the murderous aspects of humans, though war broke out and Adeyinka was taken to prison when he decided not to cooperate but wanted to use his knowledge to help his people.

Because Adeyinka fears that if greater knowledge like the one he acquired falls into the hands of bad people, the world could become a bad place to live, and more people will continue to suffer, so he was careful when he shared what he knows and to who he should trust.

I love this book so much because Ezechi Onyerionwu written it out of what people's experience was like on the battlefield. It's like she knows that most reader's at times do not want to read about massacres and too much torment of humans, since she keeps those parts to a minimum.

The Intelligent man "Adeyinka" was a professor, when he was called to give his speech as an intelligent man about the things to be done that would easily foster peace in the country and thus bring development.

One of the things he said was that, among other things, a song should be sung in every corner of the country, because the song keeps the spirit of the people together, it is one of the things that shows people that they are one no matter what. age, sex. and tribe.

To keep the peace it was becoming an expensive practice that the Nimbae government had to look for people to share their ideas in order to keep things going as they should.

So what saddened Adeyinka in the first place was the appointment of leaders who were not competent to handle public office, because assuming those people were fit in their respective positions, they might have a solution to whatever dilemma tried to arise.

However, the intelligence ones were not given these opportunity yet they sent them to the classroom, and.

Among these people was Adeyinka, who was famous for his intellectual, but he was afraid to share information that he should not have shared with the people in power. Adeyinka thinks that people in powers do not care about others people.

So for him to give his opinion was like not having anything to say, that's how people in the government began to see him as a rebel.

They took him to prison for not cooperating with the state, but Adeyinka was never afraid of death, he said that dying with his pride is like taking him to his eternal home.

I really like the plot been created here by Ezechi Onyerionwu, it's actually an interesting and captivating one. As for Adeyinka, I really want to know how it ended for him, being a man if intellectual standards, how does he bale himself from this accusations.
