Splinterlands - It's been awhile
It's been awhile since I had a battle or twenty but I hope to make some time to do so soon. Splinterlands -- what a ride it has been. Are we going to recapture past peak values? Can we get another influx of players like we experienced in 2020-2021? I certainly believe so. Splinterlands has endless amounts of potential. Although it is the longest running #play2earn game on the Hive Blockchain I view Splinterlands as a game that is still in its later infancy stages. The growing pains are there but without them progress is mute. What makes Splinterlands go boom again? That is literally the million or possibly multi-million dollar question. My opinion: we already had the winning formula. Put cash in the players/ investors pockets and they in return spend it on the game. Of course there are many roads to success and many opportunities (with risks) to be had within Splinterlands. DEC being at its current trade value comes to mind. Always and I mean always check the DEC markets before you make a purchase. More frequently than not you can purchase DEC for below the threshold of $1/1000 DEC on secondary market. Splinterlands accepts DEC at the value of $1/1000. What markets --- ones such as Tribaldex. As I type this out I am reminded of the original SPS airdrop. Something that I liked to call the perfect storm. If we can repeat that I think it would give us a nice leg up. This time from experience of the first one with lower token print rates (SPS-B, SPSB, SPS2, you tell me?).

It's Poker Time
Yesterday during my HPUD Post, I noted my break from Poker has concluded. I needed to stay dead-fast to my slow burn strategy and to do that I needed a clean slate. Without the break I'd simply keep plucking away as I was. Anyways, we are back at it. Today was planned to be our first venture back. The issue, the poker site I have my remainder bankroll on doesn't offer double up sit n go's. I now am scratching my head wondering what my next move is going to be. As I currently browse their game offerings I quickly learn there isn't much of a selection for traditional sit n go's. I do have an old gift card here with about $15 or $20 on it. I don't imagine I will use it for anything as I had it for 6+ months if not longer. I should probably check the expiry date on it. Depositing will go back on my no deposit footprint I was trying to create. If the date is soon up I'm likely going to use it as I don''t want the funds on it to expire. Sure its just $15 or $20 but leaving in the hands of the bank isn't something that RentMoney wants to do. As it stands I have $27.84 USD in one poker account and some pennies in another. I am going to give it another day or two of thought before I proceed. A slight bummer/ bump in the road but that is ok. The second site I pay on does have double ups. One way or another I will eventually pivot to the second site to implement my double up plan.

Concluding Thoughts
That's it for now. I got some adulting (is that even a word?) to do around this place but after that its back to the fun stuff like window shopping the many cool assets Splinterlands has available. Before I go I thought I give a quick update on the post titled The Hamburger Helper Saga (40 boxes and counting). My shipment arrived today. The box was a hefty one and I'm glad I manage to attain flat rate shipping. If it wasn't for such the shipment would have cost me a pretty penny. The representative that was shipping me my loot was feeling under the weather and was on sick leave. Thus the unusual wait time I experienced. They started the order before clocking out and getting sick and wanted to finish it is what they said. I'm not sure who this grocery stores box packer is but they did an amazing job with packing all the goods I ordered. No space was left unused. Not all of my order came, some was canceled and declared "out of stock". I suspect it was because shipping the rest would have required an additional shippingbox. An additional shipping cost that that wasn't margin friendly for the operators of the grocery store. Well, that is that. This post has come to an end and we thank you for reading it.
