IMHO, as the fiat system keeps degrading, Defi and Legacy systems will slowly converge. There is need of both unlimited supply, unlimited expansion (digital) and limited, value accruing, SOV projects.

Explain the difference in SOV between Bitcoin, that doubles in value every year, and a stable DEFI network that offers 100% APR. Both of these projects offer the exact same returns and store of value. The only difference is that one is a stable unit-of-account (the DEFI token) and that the other is a superior form of security.
Bitcoin is not a store of value it is a store of security.
The deflation of Bitcoin has nothing to do with storing value and everything to do with creating a secure network.
The value stored is the incentive for the security :-)
