Who wouldn't be amazed by the vibrance of this yellow beauty?

Today in the very morning I went outside to take a short walk. I'm not a morning person but wake up early for some work today. It was a win-win because of this beauty.

I had no idea what is this plant or the flower's name though I have seen it randomly several times before. It's usually a wildflower, people don't keep this as a decorative plant. But I think we could. The yellow is so vibrant.

Google showed me detail about the plant. The name of this plant is senna alata. It's not a native plant that's why I'm not familiar with it. But when I came to know about the medicinal benefits of this plant it amazed me. I guess most of us are not aware of this, don't know the usage that's why this plant is just out there as a wildflower.

Senna alata is a medicinal herb of the Leguminosae family. It is distributed in tropical and humid regions. The plant is traditionally used in the treatment of typhoid, diabetes, malaria, asthma, ringworms, tinea infections, scabies, blotch, herpes, and eczema.

That's huge, right?

But as I have said earlier it's not native so I never saw anyone to my known use this as natural medicine. The flower doesn't have any fragrance. But it was full of beauty. The whole bush was covered by so many yellow flowers, truly amazing.

It's almost like a moringa plant. The leaves can us dried out and mixed with any kind of drink like tea or smoothie.

I wish I could know more about this so I can use and pass the knowledge to the next generation.

Do you know about this plant and it's usage? Share with me.

Have a good day, everyone.
