There's no alternative to give thyself the joy of fulfillment | Boredom and life.

While reading some of the posts in this community about boredom one thing came to my mind and that is, we must make some alternative plan to get out of boredom.

There's no way that boredom will go over time. We all know that we must do something to get over it. The best way is to replace it with something effective. Like giving thyself the joy of fulfillment.

People say it's always not possible. Life is tough and we always can't get up and do something. We all are not achievers. Well, I think a bit differently at this point.

Let me explain.

  • I don't have to be the top-level CEO nor do I need to get awards in my academic career to be an achiever. Fulfilling some daily life goals is enough for me or for anyone, I believe. For example - finishing the laundry, walking our pet, finishing an assignment, or something similar, some smaller actions can bring the joy of fulfillment.

These acts are so simple, that we can easily replace them in our time when we feel down or bored.

What I feel is that happiness is a temporary feeling. It comes and goes depending on the moment. While fulfillment lust longer and change our lives in many ways.

I don't feel like doing anything many days. It happens to all of us. But sometimes boredom lasts longer than expected. We usually get puzzled and think could the alternative to get back to life during those moments. To me bringing the joy of fulfillment is what helps me to get over boredom.

Fulfillment brings deep joy and leads us to focus on the purpose of life.

While during your bad days, you may feel like staying under your blanket but doing some small things can make you reverse your feeling. We don't have to force ourselves to be the best in the next moment, give our 100% to our work. Let it be if you don't feel like it. Just do your daily things, take care of some small things and you will feel like you are getting some meaning in life. This is so much more effective than we think.

As I have said, it works for me very effectively and I believe it will work for anyone. Boredom, demotivation, and not feeling inspired are something that kills us inside. It's very tough to get over this feeling. Especially if you are an introvert like me where you can't even seek help or feel like going outside often to feel refreshed. So this fulfillment technique is what keeps me moving.

Hello @rem-steem,
I agree with you.
We have to find ways to alleviate boredom, even if it means occupying our time with small chores around the house. If there is work that needs doing, and we don't tackle them, they will pile up or become someone else's burden anyway.

That's what I believe. It becomes so stressful if we skip some daily routine. It's better to keep doing and we can gradually find ways to stay out of boredom.
Thanks for sharing your words.

I agree. When the weather is good (warm) enough, then I often walk in parks with my Harris's hawk on my arm. I sit down on a bench, and I can sit there for hours. And this gives me a peaceful, relaxed feeling.

What a good formula.💡

That's right. Everyday activities give a sense of satisfaction. And that way we can feel that we are doing and finishing tasks. We totally understand your point of view, and not a few of us agree with it. We know we have tools at our fingertips to deal with boredom.🤓

Hugs @rem-steem 💕

Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks this formula works effectively. I hope we all can get out of boredom and learn to deal with it positively.

In terms of reality. You nailed the article 100%. Yes. Even so many people believe you need to be a millionaire before you can be called An Achiever. To my own thoughts. Achiever begins when you make a decision about life and it comes into a reality fulfilment.

I fully agree with you. Being an achiever has no connection with monetary or earthly fulfillment. We all have different goals and purposes, reaching them is enough.
Thanks for your wonderful words.

After reading many posts in the community about boredom, this is the post that appeared quite sensible. I would agree with you. Happiness is very short lived while fulfillment is not. It lasts longer. The good thing is fulfilment doesn't need to be derived from very extensive activities, instead you can derive it from your daily routine
