What weird food combinations do you really enjoy?

I am one person who is very open to new tastes and trying out new recipes, as someone who loves the kitchen and loves to cook and bake, I never back out of tasting or trying out new things food wise. You see that food that everyone would taste and say ’please don’t try it, it doesn’t taste nice’ , I would definitely be trying it because my opinion is that everyone cannot have the same likes or tastes, as it applies to life it also applies to every individuals tastes bud.

I read through @nkemakonam89 post on this topic and I could relate to all the food combinations she mentioned and it reminded me of some weird combinations I love too,

Bread and Noodles aka indomie:
This combination is the bomb. I learnt it from my sister, she would usually always have bread with her plate of noodles and I would look at her from a distance wondering if it was tasty because she ravaged it with all delight, till I tried it for myself one day and since then, I have been hooked on it, I recently taught my husband man how to eat it too and he can confess it is so yum.

Beans and Eba(garri): this combination was and is my brothers favorite till date. He would make the Eba and leave it cool off and even become cold, sometimes when he is in a hurry to eat it, he would pop it into the fridge for a few minutes to cool off faster, and then he would have it with hot steamy beans. The day I tried this combination, I understood why he loved it and it became my favorite too.

Yam and Mayonnaise
I found out this one for myself, and the instant I tried it, I knew I would never be able to let go of this combination, anytime I am eating it my partner would look at me and shake his head. He is a very ridge food eater and doesn’t try out things he isn’t familiar with, so he sticks to the basic food combinations that is generally accepted. But me, I am like a bird and I soar and fly and eat anything eatable (lol).

moi-moi and bread
I learnt this one while I was in the university, I lived in the school hostel, we had hawkers who would walk pass our rooms every morning with different things for sale, bread , noodles, akara, etc, these hawkers were students too and this was the method they used to make money in school. Anytime they hawked moi-moi(for non-Nigerians beans pudding), my roommates would buy and have it with bread, at first the combinations did not sit well with me but they kept making me feel like it was a hit and very yum and trust me when I tried it I testified, Indeed the combination was truly a hit and I enjoyed it all through my university days and even till today.

white-boiled rice and noodles:

You see this combination, when you want to try it out make sure your noodles has pepper and a little watery, the. Proceed to add rice to it, plain white boiled rice, come back to this post and thank me. (Lol).

pringles and salad

This idea was gotten from tacos, the first day I tried tacos, the tortilla wasn’t crunchy, although I enjoyed it but I thought to myself, what if it was crunchy, I then decided to use pringles to do the experiment and I instantly loved it. A good well endowed salad in the middle of a pringles slice, is a slice of heaven.
