My happy place would have to be my Kitchen, I would have loved loved to say my home, because quite honestly my home brings me so much joy, if I were to have two or more happy places my home would come first because in my home is where my kitchen is, amd also where I find my favorite person ‘my husband’ whose arms is also my happy place.

But for the purpose of this weeks contest question

If you could pick a favorite "happy place," where would that be?

My happy place is my kitchen
As someone who loves to cook and bake, the kitchen is one place I am not shy or ever tired of going into, you could wake me up from sleep and ask me to whip up something for you and I’ll be happy to do so, cooking and watching people or someone eat my meal is soothing for me in some way, I don’t know how to explain it tho, and you see baking? , it’s therapeutic in a way too for me, overtime I have found out that when I bake I am happy, calmer, and exited too.

The kitchen is one place that has seen my failures more than any other place or person inshort. All my food and pastry experiments, All my new found recipes, trying out new spices, following YT video recipe that might either come out a success or a disaster. Lol

And guess what? The kitchen doesn’t judge my failed experiments Lol.
The kitchen is also where I am most organized, I know where things are kept, how they are kept, what I have and what has been exhausted and needs a refill.

I own some of the most handy easy life gadgets that makes cooking and kitchen work easier, when it comes to buying the things I need to make my kitchen work smoother or easier I do not relent. I can say I spend huge part of my income on buying kitchen appliances (Lol).

My husband loves my foods, and cooking what he loves makes me happy, I love all our kitchen episodes, me cooking, him keeping me company, I must admit those times are some of my favorite intimate times I share with him. I love when he offers to stay with me in the kitchen while I cook, it affords us the time to have the most juicy gossips and we laugh heartily while pilfering from the meat and fish Lol

My kitchen might not be the most spacious or biggest but it’s one place I am always happy to step into because I have the best times in there doing what I love doing.
