My ListNerd Journey : Day 1

Listenerd is a second layer token and platform on the Hive blockchain, its been around for more than 6 months and for a long time I have been postponing my involvement in to the platform. Listenerd is on the proof of email mechanism, which is based on what I think is, you earn by reading emails. The hive blockchain is the blockchain that rewards you for lots of things, this part is the one that rewards you for reading emails and sending emails. There are three tokens to be used on listenerds, each has their different functions. If you are on the listenerds platform you will see the Mail, ListNerd & CTP tokens. Each has their different use.

Don’t forget that listenerds works based on proof of email, so get ready to be reading a lot of emails, but these emails come based on how much you subscribed. You earn Mail token for reading emails too. For a start, you will be given 1 listenerd token, I guess its a welcome bonus.

The more Mail Token you buy the more Mail you receive you can see the packages here. I have to understand it properly before I start throwing in more money for more Mails. For now I am on the free package so this means that I get only couple of emails a week. I think an email in 7 days and I am allowed 5 Mail per click. If I want more I have to buy more Mail tokens.

Due to the fact that I had signed up a listnerd account over 3 months ago, I had lots of email in my inbox when I checked, so it was easier for me to explore. You have the options of upvoting and downvoting mails.

Now this is where the function of these tokens come to play. According to my understanding based on my exploration, the mail token is to get access to send mails. If you don’t have Mail tokens, you won’t be able to send emails through listenerds. Why do we need to send emails you may ask? Well I see listenerds as a medium for exposure, as a content creator, we need more exposure, listenerds helps us achieve that. If you create a content and you want more people to see the post, you can buy more mail tokens and send emails using mail tokens.

I will have to write a special content on how to utilise the listenerd by sending emails.

Listenerd sends these emails with your contents in it to random listnerds users, this way it increases your chance of post view. This is like Facebook ads or instagram sponsored post, so this is digital marketing on Hive.

How Do I Earn Listnerds?

I am not sure about this part because I am still new to the listenerd space, but I think you need engagements on your mails to earn some listenerds. So I will have to explore that sector.
