El Salvador’s First Official Bitcoin Mined With Volcano
It’s no doubt that El Salvador will be written down in the book of history when talking about the revolutionary money that changed the world. It’s possible that movies might be made to give people a visual representation of how it happened in El Salvador. The president of El Salvador Nayib Bukele, is considered a cryptocurrency hero but from non citizens who feel that he has given hope to the crypto community.

Few weeks back, the bitcoin implementation into the country as legal tender was successful, though it came with some protest from some of the citizens. Few days ago which was about barely 3 weeks after the official implementation, the president posted on Twitter that the geothermal volcanic bitcoin mining plant set up by the country has began mining bitcoin. Hours later the president shows a picture on Twitter showing the amount of bitcoin that was successfully mined by the country officially.
Although the president claimed that the mining is still in its testing and installing phase. On thé comment section lots of people keep reminding him that it’s a bad idea for him to make that decision ,while some applaud for taking a bold step towards accepting a new technology. Well time will tell if this decision is truly going to change the economy or have a positive economic impact in the country.
