The beginning of the year 2023 has represented a spike in the prices of the main cryptocurrencies

Greetings again my dear friends, I hope you are all very well, there is no doubt that the first days of the year 2023 have been a good start for the rebound in the prices of cryptocurrencies, at least the most visible and important of this market such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), I have been able to observe this in the prices offered by various pages and Exchanges.

In the case of BTC, it has approached 19 thousand dollars, however, it is important to continue to observe this behavior since there are many opinions that point out that the price of Bitcoin can go back to 17 thousand dollars, and continue to lateralize, however, so far the price of the queen coin is on the rise as you can see in the following price chart.

The other major cryptocurrency that has followed in the footsteps is Ethereum (ETH), at the time of writing its value is above $1,400, as you can see in the following graph.

The current price of ETH has led it to have a recovery momentum of more than 16% if we follow the analysis of its price at the beginning of this year, and even in the graph we could see how a little more than 2 months ago ETH did not exceed the barrier of $ 1,400, it is well known that this crypto asset represents the second place of importance in the entire cryptocurrency market, and so far, both BTC and ETH are marking their first month of the year in the green zone.

As usual, there are many conflicting opinions about the traders or specialists of this market, the truth is that both cryptocurrencies have started this year on the rise, we could ask ourselves the following questions:

Is this effect due to the fact that we are in the pre-halving year?

Many of us can express our experiences linked to the year before the Halving, and express that there are many factors to which we could refer, however, it is better to continue observing the behavior of the rise in the prices of these two maximum exponents of the cryptocurrency market such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) and hope that they drag up the rest of the cryptocurrencies.
