Encouraging children to read helps us to balance the use of electronic devices?

Greetings again my dear friends I hope you are all well, one of the best educational tools that we must insentivate or encourage in our children is reading, as children we love to learn everything and we have the ability to absorb quickly what we like, but this taste should be guided by us parents, how many children do not love to listen to their parents when they read a story or an exciting story, that interest certainly becomes a great magnet of interest in reading and can be our motivational starting point and which is very useful.

Reading has important repercussions for the development of the human being, and above all, it allows us a greater interaction with everything that surrounds us and, that aspect is of vital importance to make it see or children, when a child gets used to reading his or her mind is alert and willing to constant learning and above all to self-learning, the habit of reading leads to a higher rate of intellectual development and thus, better school performance.

One of the biggest failures in the educational systems or in the education at home is the lack of interest on the part of the parents to insentivate the children to the adequate habit of reading, even it is very pleasing to observe when a small one is naturally deselvuelte when reading, And it is even more admirable when they reach the school or preschool level and already know how to read, that is called interest promoted by parents and, better yet, children adapt faster to the school stage as they are several steps ahead of those who just started the activity of reading in the classroom.

One of the keys for the little ones to begin to love what they read is to allow them to choose what they want to observe and to awaken their interest in knowing what that number of letters really expresses, this of course, within a set of diverse materials attractive to their sight and that way we capture the interest of their mind, currently many parents make the mistake or neglect of not providing or encouraging reading in their children, but, if they allow them to spend almost all day with some electronic device in their hands, they must somehow interact with these devices, however, everything must be controlled.

Could the habit of reading minimize the constant use of electronic devices in children?

It would be a very good strategy to keep children away from such devices, remember the harmful effect of light rays that impact on their retina, especially the blue light spectrum, and that over time can bring adverse consequences to the normal condition of the functioning of their ocular system, children's books that can be useful for our little ones should never be missing at home, we know that we live immersed in the technological age and that everything develops at the speed of light, but it is up to us to create in them a proper balance of their activities.

It is preferable to watch a boy or a girl reading a children's book than watching them all day in front of the TV, cell phone, tablet, among other devices, but that falls on our responsibility to know how to carry the daily activities of our sons and daughters, and for me one of them will be to cultivate the wonderful seed of the habit of reading, this habit will undoubtedly bring great benefits throughout their lives.
