Greetings beautiful creative community!! I hope you had a nice day and are having a nice night. I am glad to have the opportunity to participate in a contest proposed in the community where they motivate us to create something related to Luna. Like many, I love to appreciate the light of the moon, more than anything when it is in the full phase, its stars around it, indisputably make a true work of art in the sky. This is why I find this subject fascinating and inspires me to participate, since it is very beautiful to capture nature in crafts.

For my entry I focused on making a very useful children's craft, which works as an ornament on the wall and gives light to my daughter's room, since her night lamp was damaged and He doesn't like to sleep in the dark... This ornament is made of felt, a light material, very manageable, durable but above all easy to work with, made up of a half moon, and a landscape of clouds, hearts, stars and a character angelic. This ornament could be something that draws a lot of attention both day and night, it is cute and its additional lights make it look realistic due to its respective moon shape.Join me in each step of this beautiful tutorial.

(PROCEDIMIENTO)

The patterns in this craft were first drawn on a piece of paper and then cut out. We start cutting all the parts of the ornament, starting with the largest piece that is the moon, we will put this pattern on a folded fold of white felt and mark its shape with the help of colored chalk. Then I cut, to obtain two equal parts.

I continue with the other pieces, we mark and cut the ones that will have the shape of a cloud in blue felt without folding it. Then I cut out the heart shapes, but this time we fold the felt so that we have two pieces. I use white felt and the same step for the stars. In flesh-colored felt, I cut out the figure of the angel's head and arms. For the hair I had to improvise a bit, I used a small piece of brown foam, since I didn't have this little felt color or one that would work for hair.

We give the same moon shape to a piece of padding, and on the edges of this piece I place the Christmas lights, we can glue them or fix them with a seam.

With the lights in place, it's time to sew the felt pieces. I place one layer of the moon at the bottom of the fill containing the lights and the other at the top and sew. I add a bit of padding, but without covering the highlights, and close the seams. I decorate half of the moon with a pearl ribbon.

On top of the blue clouds, we glue or sew a little bit of padding and sew it to the sides of the moon. Next, I sew both sides of the angelic person and his hands, we glue the hair and I add some small felt bows. We embroider the face with two black beads and its mouth with fuchsia thread. It's little angel, we sew it on the tip of the moon.

With everything ready, I start to assemble the mobile; With sewing thread of different sizes I hang the decorations of the moon, as you will see in the first image. I finish by gluing or sewing, a cord to hang on the back, to combine I decided to place a ribbon of smaller pearls.

Ready my beautiful friends, with love I show you photographs of the final result. Although the lights did not reach me for the whole moon, I really liked how it turned out and I am happy. The important thing is my girl's room is lit up with this beautiful decoration.
