Review -The Call from Netflix | A Korean movie [ENG] [ESP]
It is a supernatural thriller with horror overtones directed by Lee Chung-hyun, in which a young woman in Korea receives a call in a rural area, a beautiful and spacious house, these people do not have typical financial problems in most Korean films, the young woman receives a call for help and realizes that the person making the call and she share the same house but are separated in time.
Es un triller sobrenatural con tintes de terror dirigido por Lee Chung-hyun, en el que una joven en Corea recibe una llamada en un área rural , una casa bella y amplia , esta gente no tiene problemas económicos típicos en la mayoría de películas coreanas , la joven recibe una llamada de auxilio y se da cuenta de que la persona que hace la llamada y ella comparten la misma casa pero están separadas en el tiempo.
This is how this is a complex plot which you must accept to enjoy the film and get into its complex rules, it is not known why, but the house phone is connected, you can call from the past to the present and vice versa, so both protagonists start a telephone relationship, a bit casual where 2 teenagers talk but the girl of the present warns the girl of the past that she is going to die, so she changes her fate, in gratitude the girl of the past saves the father of the girl of the present, It is when we see something that I had not seen in any movie, it is the shot in which the timeline changes, they use CGI and slow motion shots and it looks pretty good.
Así es esta es una trama compleja la cual debes aceptar para disfrutar de la película y adentrarte en sus complejas reglas, no se sabe porque pero el teléfono de la casa esta conectado se puede llamar del pasado al presente y viceversa, así que ambas protagonistas inician una relación telefónica , un poco casual en donde 2 adolescentes hablan pero la chica del presente advierte a la chica del pasado que va a morir , así que esta cambia su destino, en agradecimiento la chica del pasado salva al padre de la chica del presente, es cuando vemos algo que no había visto en ninguna película , es el plano en el que cambia la línea temporal , utilizan CGI y planos slow motion y se ve bastante bien.
I think this film has a successful mix of genres between psychological thriller and horror but they don't use silly scream, I think it knows how to win the moments of tension it generates, it is really very enjoyable, a different experience from the American cinema that we are used to. Let's see, here you will not see the man in love saving his love or the typical day of American cinema, here the protagonist will have to fend for herself to face her nemesis from the past, since when saving her father she feels displaced, already that the girl of the present by spending time with her father neglects her friend, which ends up turning them into enemies.
Creo que esta película tiene una mezcla de géneros acertada entre thriller psicológico y terror pero no usan scream a lo tonto, creo que se sabe ganar los momentos de tensión que genera , es de verdad muy disfrutable , una experiencia distinta del cine americano que estamos acostumbrados a ver, aquí no vas a ver al hombre enamorado salvando su amor ni da típico del cine americano , aquí la protagonista deberá valerse por si misma para enfrentar a su némesis del pasado , ya que esta al salvar a su padre se siente desplazada , ya que la chica del presente por pasar tiempo con su padre descuida a a su amiga, lo que termina por convertirlas en enemigas.
I feel like the movie has a lesson about destiny that everything was fine in the first place and by changing destiny at the beginning it could be better, but it ends up getting quite complicated, since the girl from the past to save her life had to murder and that. I end up taking her on an endless cycle of homicides, until she gets to the present. I think the best thing about the film was the ending, quite unexpected and the direction and technical aspect of the film is of great quality, it was a film made with great detail, each shot was very well thought out.
Siento que la película tiene una lección sobre el destino sobre que todo estaba bien en primer lugar y al cambiar el destino al principio pudo ser mejor , pero termina todo complicándose bastante , ya que la chica del pasado para salvar su vida tuvo que asesinar y eso termino llevándola a un ciclo sin fin de homicidios , hasta que llega al presente. Creo que lo mejor de la película fue el final , bastante inesperado y la dirección y el aspecto técnico de la película es de gran calidad , fue una película hecha con mucho detalle cada plano fue muy bien pensado.

thriller psicológico, suele volar mi cabeza y desde ese punto ya es obligado verla.
No se que tan pesada pueda ser, la trama parece común pero quizás el desarrollo no, le echaré un vistazo para tener una opinión clara.
