Estimados hivers, espero que se encuentren bien con las energías renovadas después de estas cortas vacaciones de Semana Santa. El domingo llevamos a los pequeños a un nuevo parque, los momentos de recreación son necesarios para liberar el estrés y producir bienestar en el cuerpo. Contemplar el paisaje y ver su magnificencia es visualizar que en lo simple hay una belleza extraordinaria. La naturaleza tiene el poder extraordinario de generar paz, esta sensación de plenitud es incomparable. Eso es lo que quiero enseñarles a los niños, que puedan apreciar todas las bondades de pasar tiempo al aire libre.

Los niños estaban muy entusiasmados, llegamos al lugar y, de inmediato, se subieron a los diferentes juegos. Sara se montó en las barras hasta llegar a la cima, es muy ágil, lo hizo sin aplicar mucho esfuerzo. Igual le indiqué que fuera cuidadosa y observara bien dónde colocaba los pies y los brazos para evitar el riesgo de algún accidente. La misma destreza para escalar, la usó para descender.

Por su parte, Jesús estaba corriendo por el parque y su papá detrás de él. Se divierte cuando sabe que lo están persiguiendo, así que apresura el paso. Luego, quería esconderse por los árboles para que lo buscaran, eso le gusta mucho. La sonrisa que se le dibujaba en el rostro era sinónimo de disfrute. Yo no podía estar a su trote, iba a mi propio ritmo lento (jaja).

Dear hivers, I hope you are well with renewed energy after these short Easter vacations. On Sunday we took the little ones to a new park, moments of recreation are necessary to release stress and produce wellness in the body. To contemplate the landscape and see its magnificence is to visualize that in the simple there is an extraordinary beauty. Nature has the extraordinary power to generate peace, this feeling of fullness is incomparable. That is what I want to teach the children, that they can appreciate all the benefits of spending time outdoors.

The children were very enthusiastic, we arrived at the place and they immediately jumped on the different games. Sara rode the bars all the way to the top, she is very agile, she did it without applying much effort. I also told her to be careful and watch where she placed her feet and arms to avoid the risk of an accident. She used the same dexterity for climbing to descend.

For his part, Jesus was running around the park with his dad behind him. He gets a kick out of knowing he's being chased, so he picks up the pace. Then he wanted to hide in the trees so they would look for him, he likes that very much. The smile on his face was synonymous with enjoyment. I couldn't keep up with his trot, I was going at my own slow pace (haha).

Luego se fueron a los columpios, Sara estaba contenta y podía balancearse sola, allí se entretuvo un buen rato. Jesús la siguió y, en un principio, estaban juntos, pero como Jesús tiene menos equilibrio, lo colocamos en uno tipo silla, así sería más seguro para él. Su papá lo ayudaba columpiarse, le dejo esa tarea a él porque yo no tengo superfuerza (jaja). Posteriormente, se distrajeron en el sube y baja, allí se equiparaba el peso.

Consideramos que debemos hacer más actividades de este tipo para que los niños compartan con sus pares y se alejen por un tiempo de la tecnología, puesto que es vital establecer un límite con respecto al uso y tener la debida supervisión, así pueden aprender que hay un mundo más allá de las pantallas, que el contacto humano es fundamental para establecer relaciones asertivas con los demás, de esta forma, cultivarán lazos de amistad. Ese es el mensaje que queremos transmitir.

Then they went to the swings, Sara was happy and could swing on her own, she was entertained there for a while. Jesus followed her and, at first, they were together, but since Jesus has less balance, we put him in a chair type swing, so it would be safer for him. His dad helped him swing, I leave that task to him because I don't have super strength (haha). Later on, they got distracted on the seesaw, there the weight was equalized.

We believe that we should do more activities of this type so that children share with their peers and get away from technology for a while, since it is vital to establish a limit regarding the use and have proper supervision, so they can learn that there is a world beyond the screens, that human contact is essential to establish assertive relationships with others, in this way, they will cultivate bonds of friendship. That is the message we want to convey.

La diversión sana es muy importante para su desarrollo. Sin sentirlo como una obligación, hacen ejercicios, estiran las piernas, ejercitan sus habilidades motoras y ponen en práctica su coordinación, velocidad y tienen noción de su cuerpo en el espacio. También aprenden a seguir reglas, a ser pacientes y a esperar su turno para montarse en los distintos juegos. Características que les serán útiles para consolidarse como personas que pueden desenvolverse en un ambiente sano.

Siempre es un deleite salir a un lugar de esparcimiento y compartir con los seres que queremos, son gratos momentos que se van acumulando en nuestra mente y de tan solo recordarlos nos generan satisfacción. Por ahora me despido, estamos en contacto, hasta una próxima entrega.

Healthy fun is very important for their development. Without feeling it as an obligation, they exercise, stretch their legs, exercise their motor skills and practice their coordination, speed and have a sense of their body in space. They also learn to follow rules, to be patient and to wait their turn to ride in the different games. These characteristics will be useful for them to consolidate themselves as people who can develop in a healthy environment.

It is always a delight to go out to a place of recreation and share with the ones we love, they are pleasant moments that accumulate in our minds and just remembering them generates satisfaction. For now I say goodbye, we are in contact, until a next installment.
