Good morning friends of Hive, it's your friend Ramaco who today decided to restore a Biennial quality talk due to its magnitude of dimensions (2.10 x 1.80) cm and the mistreatment of the environment, the work had to be retouched to protect it from the mistreatment of time.

Restoration of the work:

Materials for restoration:

Resin, acrylics, varnish, brushes, brushes, airbrush to apply the resin at the end of the restoration.

First I used the brush to clean the dust from the work as you see in the images.

Here I show you the clean work of dust.

The damaged parts of the work due to the action of time are shown in the following photographs.

START OF PAINTING RESTORATION:

I touched up the painting and its surroundings on the mount part.

I used mahogany brown acrylic and black color to restore the largest part of the black and mahogany color acrylic assembly.

After painting the damaged parts with acrylic and resin, I dedicated myself to repairing the details of the piece.

This piece has a lot of textures since elements from the sea were incorporated, such as: little snail, stones. I also placed a sculpture that I made carved in stone and incorporated it into the work to balance it.

The details were made with fine tip brushes and dark brown and black acrylics, the textures were achieved with a resin spatula and varnish.

In these images I am applying the resin to preserve the work, and you can also see the positive impact of its restoration.

In the corners of the painting, 4 coins with the face of Bolívar were added, which was restored to make them stand out even more.
