The Thrum of Kalon is an Acrostic poem, inspired by the prompt of the concept word, Kalon. The acrostic style is a form of poetry I haven't tackled in a while. Acrostic poetry is where the first or last letter of each line spells out a word, in this case the prompt word of the poem. As the etymology of the word 'Kalon' dates back to antiquity and ancient Greek times, the Acrostic form felt right as it has its origins as far back as the writing of the bible. The definition of the word Kalon is:
