Some Blah Blah About Me || Introducing Myself!

Hello hello 👋, how are y’all doing today?

Introducing myself after being active on Hive for more than one and half a year— you got to be kidding me, nah, it’s real. I’m writing my introductory post as I have felt it’s necessary to show my obligation to this decentralised platform.

Also, I am on my way to taking part in the HiveBuzz program one by one, and it seems like I have missed the most crucial part of the series of assigned activities— introducing yourself! So, here I am.

Okay, so, who are you? Or, should I say, Who Am I?

---

Mmm…call me Nyn; I wouldn’t mind. Even though it’s not my real name, I would like you to call me by that name— it doesn’t matter how you pronounce it; ‘neen,’ ‘nine’ or whatever, it’s all the same to me.

But those who know me in real life, which is quite a few, know what does that 3 letters signify and what they are meant to be. So, it’s no problem for them, and neither should it be for you.

But, the name doesn’t count here in Hive— it’s what you do counts. So, let’s see what do I do for a living.

What do I do, eh?

I do many thing— from eating, sleeping, laughing, and talking to breathing and dreaming— I just can’t count how many things I do everyday; it’s nearly impossible.

But if you want to know what I do for a living— yeah, that’s easy to define.

Actually, I do what I am doing right now— I am a writer by profession, a marketer by passion, and an entrepreneur by enthusiasm.

That being said, I work full-time for an Australian company (don’t be excited) owned by a fellow Bangladeshi. My job doesn’t require me to attend office physically and barely cares if I am half-working half-sleeping during the assigned hours. It’s the job they are after— so, they are okay if I can submit my assigned task at the end of the day; really relaxing for a writing job. So, to summarise, I am a Content Writer dealing with SaaS products at present but my expertise is more rooted in SEO & Digital Marketing industry.

Okay, so, what about the ‘marketer’ thing— right? Well, I am a seasoned (almost) Digital Marketer and have worked here and there before I co-founded a Digital Marketing agency along with starting a few other projects— including a Graphic Design agency, a Life-style blog, a Bike review blog, and lastly, a YouTube channel focused on product review and lifestyle genre.

However, all of the projects run under the supervision of that Digital Marketing agency, which, interestingly, doesn’t have a functional website yet (it’s been 1 year I am trying to spare time to work on it). But the projects are ongoing and so far, the Graphic Designing wing is the most successful; collaborating with clients mainly from the USA, Australia, Canada, and to some extent Israel.

All these things require relevant knowledge, right? So, how do I know all these stuff— let’s dive into it.

Talking about degrees, I have all of them— SSC, HSC, BA, MA 🤭

Including the MA only would serve the purpose though, yeah, I know— just trying to make sure nothing leaves behind. In fact, the first two certificates (SSC & HSC) are my most successful ones and so, I cannot dishonour them by not stating here.

Well, I have a Bachelor degree in English Literature and a MA degree in Applied Linguistics & ELT.

Still, I know nothing much about them compared to my knowledge on SEO, Branding, Content Writing, Email Marketing, WordPress, and Business Strategy. I have learned them during my 6 years of journey that started back in my Bachelor’s period. In most cases, I am self-taught. Thanks to Google, YouTube, and my wonderful colleagues I have come across so far.

Umm, doing all these things take time. So, how do I manage to get a moment to enjoy myself or spend time with my family?

Yeah, that’s a significant concern for me— to be honest, I get little to no time to spend with my family. All the time I am doing my tasks and going to sleep when I can— life doesn’t have to be this hard, right? I have come to realise that long ago but I want to continue this for a few more years before I retire from the majority of the tasks and assign them to the resources I hire as a part of the process. But when I retreat to my retirement, I have this desire to explore Hive to its core as I am enjoying my time here— it gives me a chance to cherish my work; all other things I do either go under other’s jurisdiction or cannot be traced back— marketing, you know, it’s somewhat abstract.

Yikes, I am sorry to make my introductory post this long, still, I have so many things to say.

Ah, it’s awkward not to disclose a few other things— I am the most adored child of my parents even though there are four more; I belong to Jessore, BD, have a wife, two kids, a lot of friends (online & offline), have some fantastic mentors, passionate about farming, bike-fanatic (sports and naked only; had a Pulsar NS160, sold months ago), love to travel alone on vehicles that give you thrill of speeding, and currently trying to get abroad for higher study in African & Post-colonial Literature (have mountain-like enthusiasm on them).
