Update On My Recent Run-in With The Hivewatchers

img20210423154900.jpg

First of all, I want to say a big 'Thank You' to @melinda010100. I am grateful to her for speaking to the ‘hivewatchers’ and ‘guiltyparties’ on my behalf. We now understand their stand on the episode. I just wish they could have handled the problem with a little more finesse and understanding.

Unfortunately, they are not backing down from their position. So, since I am still blacklisted, I find no point in continuing to post here. I have created another account - https://ecency.com/@netizen01/posts I will be using that account from now. A fresh start on a clean slate.

I will put the unfortunate episode behind me. Time to move on.

I hope you will continue to support me on my new account.

Thank you kindly!

Cheers!
Vincent

I try my best to be a decent being. 😊

It hurts when people accused me of something I am not, but then, they don't know me. And we all, well, some of us anyway, tend to think the worst of our fellow beings. So, it is understandable. It was an unfortunate incident that could have been better handled. But that's life, and life is full of these little hiccups. What others think of me is not so important as long as my conscience is clear.

Hive is not perfect. But if you want to play the game, you got to abide by the rules. When it is not fun anymore, then, it will be time to leave.

Have a great day, Melinda.

I think you should keep posting with this account, and not give up... If you only get downvoted by Spaminator it's not a big deal,it will hardly affect you...

I have watched you be kind and supportive of everyone here for years. And I agree 100%. When it is no longer fun it will be time to go.

Thank you for testing out the spaminator. Yes, the downvote is not too much. But the problem is community curators will not consider upvoting the post when they see the account is blacklisted, or downvoted by spaminator.

I will see how the new account performs and make a decision later. Thank you for your continue support. I appreciate that.

I remember meeting you through assisting Ecency with curation efforts a couple of years back.

I have profound memories of times when your posts provided the perfect message or meaning and helped me get through my day, and what added tremendous value was your positive interactions with me, never missing a reply, always treating myself and others with kindness, and just being a very decent person all around.

As someone who knows a thing or two about curation and what adds value around these parts, I would never in a million years support you being added to any kind of blacklist my friend.

@melinda010100 is 100% on point with her assessment in my opinion, and it was refreshing to see her going to bat for you.

Those downvotes do not dissuade your supporters a single bit, and I think you have handled this as appropriately and maturely as humanly possible Vincent.

Thank you for your kind words, Jake. They mean a lot to me. I appreciate that. I am glad you found my posts inspiring.

But this platform has its rules, and the people in charge have their own ideas, so it's a matter of either follow the rules or leave. The time hasn't come to leave yet. Anyway, it's a small matter. It's not the end of the world. And life goes on... Cheers!😊
