The legend of a police horse, the Comején [ENG/ESP]

Hola amigos de hive espero se encuentren súper bien el día de hoy, estuve este fin de semana en un hermoso museo junto ha mis hijos y mi esposa y me ha llamado mucho la atención la historia de un caballo de la institución policial de Bogotá Colombia, con permiso de los administradores me gustaría dejar está hermosa historia por aquí.

La historia de un caballo de la institución policial llamado “comejen” una gran historia llamada la leyenda del comejen.

En la década de los 70 específicamente en el año 1971 había muchos problemas es el país. “Colombia” problemas populares que conllevaron ha enormes protestas del proletariado conjunto con el gremio estudiantil contra el gobierno de esa época lo que conllevó ha que activarán la tercera estación del escuadrón montado ha caballo, para evitar que siguieran los disturbios y el desorden público que estaba en marcha esos días del mes de febrero en frente ha la universidad nacional de Bogotá.

In the decade of the 70's, specifically in 1971, there were many problems in the country. "Colombia" popular problems that led to huge protests of the proletariat together with the student union against the government of that time which led to activate the third station of the squadron mounted on horseback, to prevent further riots and public disorder that was underway those days of February in front of the national university of Bogota.

En ese momento el general ha cargo de este escuadrón montado era Mezulan Martinez, entre el medio de el disturbio y el alboroto ocasionado, sale herido un caballo llamado Comejen. Herido con puñaladas en el abdomen, en su miembro y golpes de piedras en su cuerpo este hermoso caballo saca ha su jinete, el cuál al principio estaba peleando contra los manifestantes para que no lo hirieran casi muere en el intento de defenderlo y tuvo que correr y hacerse entre los manifestantes para no salir mal herido por los disturbios.

At that moment the general in charge of this mounted squadron was Mezulan Martinez, in the middle of the disturbance and the uproar, a horse named Comejen was wounded. Wounded with stab wounds in the abdomen, in his limb and blows of stones in his body this beautiful horse pulls out his rider, who at the beginning was fighting against the demonstrators so that they did not hurt him almost died in the attempt to defend him and had to run and become among the demonstrators so as not to get badly hurt by the riots.

El gran caballo, y su jinete fueron tantas las heridas ocasionadas por los protestante que el caballo comejen no pudo más y se desplomó frente ha la entrada de esta universidad nacional ubicada en Bogotá Colombia.

The great horse and its rider were so injured by the protesters that the horse could not take it anymore and collapsed in front of the entrance of this national university located in Bogota, Colombia.

No obstante el teniente que estaba ha cargo en ese momento del escuadrón montado, tomo una gran decisión al ver al gran y hermoso caballo ya todo moribundo maltratado y sin fuerzas para mantenerse en pie por si mismo, de acabar con la vida del ya moribundo caballo Comejen y así rehusarse ha ver al caballo agonizando por horas, el teniente apunta con su pistola y evita un sufrimiento más prolongado que estaba viviendo el caballo.
Golpeado y sin fuerzas el carabinero jinete del caballo Comejen se acerca al cuerpo ya sin vida de su leal amigo Comejen llorando ha lágrima viva sobre el cuerpo de su amigo lamentado la su perdida por horas..!!

However, the lieutenant who was in charge of the mounted squadron at the time, made a great decision when he saw the big and beautiful horse already dying, battered and without strength to stand on his own, to end the life of the already dying horse Comejen and thus refusing to see the horse agonizing for hours, the lieutenant points his gun and avoids a more prolonged suffering that the horse was living.
Beaten and without strength the carabiniere rider of the horse Comejen approaches the already lifeless body of his loyal friend Comejen crying with tears over the body of his friend lamenting his loss for hours... !

Está bella historia de amistad entre un jinete y su caballo está en un museo en el centro de Bogotá, más de 12 años estuvieron juntos todos los días rondando y haciendo cumplir la ley y el orden en está parte del país

This beautiful story of friendship between a rider and his horse is in a museum in downtown Bogota, more than 12 years they were together every day roaming and enforcing law and order in this part of the country.
