Old path bible exposition 9th January
Hello everyone
It's another great day in today's bible exposition by brother Eli, and here I want to share with us the lesson I learnt in today's teaching.
Some of us have lost our spiritual value we go about doing all manners of evil dids like killing,stealing and somany other immoral things,In the past people kill because they are angry, but now people kill for fun, a person can go and steal from another man and end up killing them after stealing from them.
What made man evil is his own destruction, and that made man lost their spiritual value.
Colossians 1:18 made us to understand that Christ is the head of the body which is the church, who is the beginning. The true church of God is the one founded by God him self and not the one which is established by man, no man has the capacity to found a church. In Psalm 127:1. We are meant to understand that except God build a house, they that build it labour in vain.
Hebrews 5:13. Made us to understand that every one that uses milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness. One needs to grow up, study the Bible and accept God before being baptized.
Ephesians 4:24 teaches us to put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Listen to word of God and the word of God will change us and mould us into a new being.
Ephesians 4:28 also encourages us to steal no more, but rather let us labour, working with our hands the thing which is good. Bro Eli encourages us to listen to the word of God and be born again by changing from our old ways of living.
1 Timothy 5:8 I learnt that we should provide for our own, and specially for those of our own house. It encourages us to not neglect our children and always provide for them, for any man who can not provide for his family is not than infidel.

Matthew 28:20 - we have learned that we are to obey the commandment of the Lord and preach the gospel in all nations until the end comes but who are the main people who will preach, it is in the church of God as it is written
1 Peter 2:9 - God's people have the obligation to preach the gospel that is found in the one body. In this way we can always add our personal reflection and understanding, we can avoid mass quoting the whole verses.
We have to apply this to avoid any conflict from other communities. I hope we understand, God help us.
