Live thanksgiving service held on 12th February 2022

Lesson learnt from today's live thanksgiving service

I learnt today that each and every one of us have duty in the church, and that is to keep the commandment of God.
John 13:35, I learnt our primary duty is to love one another.
1 Peter 4:10, I learnt that we should give to others just as we have received from others.

Mathew 5:42,43, I learnt that we should give to one that ask us, and not turn our back on those who is borrowing from us, I also learnt that we should love our enemies, and in verse 48, it said that we should be perfect just as our father which is in heaven is perfect, and that is by giving to other who has ask us.
James 1:6, I learnt that we should ask in faith and we will receive. In Psalm 37:21, the wicked borrow and don't pay back, but the righteous shows Marcy and give back. Giving is one of the commandment of God, we should give and not turn our back on those who want to borrow from us,here the bible made us to understand that it is evil to turn our back on those who ask us and if we turn our back on them that makes us evil as well.

Romans 13:7,8, said that we should give tribute to whom it is due, we should owe no man , and give to whom it is due

Dectronomy 24:13,14,15, I learnt that we should not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he is one of our brethren or a stranger.

Romans 12:16, said that we should be of the same mind to one another.

Conclusion

As a Christian we should love one another, give to people who ask us, and not withhold any good from people when it is in our power to give it to them, we should learn how to endure and that means we are proclaiming the honour of the one who calls us, even if the person is not worthy of it , we should still give it to him because that means we are proclaiming love.
The bible says to that it is not evil to borrow, if we know how to return it , do it is good to borrow but when we borrow we should be able to pay back.
