Beautiful Buildings Around Me

I like to share a large window in my life, and these structures were my view through it.
I've worked in the BPO industry for quite some time. BPO stands for Business Process Outsourcing or known in the Philippines as Call Center Industries.
I recall how I felt after graduating from college nine years ago. I decided to relocate from my hometown to Cebu City for work, which is challenging for me because I don't have anyone to live within a new place.
Regardless, I made a decision and traveled to Cebu City with a resume and a diploma. Then, I applied to several companies, mostly BPOs, because they were always hiring. After a few interviews, I landed a job with a well-known company that was both exciting and challenging, and I stayed for five years.
Then, now, I have been a customer service representative for a retail company for nearly four years.
Working as a customer service representative is a complex job. You will come across a wide range of people who are in desperate need of assistance. When they lose internet connection when they desperately need it, or when they order camping equipment and it does not arrive in time for their trip the next morning, they act as if their lives depend on you.
Our customers rely on us so much that we must find a solution for them in a limited time. Not everybody has such responsibilities.
Working in these industries taught me so much. I can easily adapt to different types of environments and have learned to manage a variety of people.
The corporate world is difficult because you are subject to your bosses, but it allows me to always put my best foot forward. Teach me how to be more self-assured and to believe in myself. Being recognized for doing a good job and hearing people thank you for making their lives easier with your assistance is motivation enough for me to stay in my job and do what I know I'm good at.
People come and go from my workplace. Along the way, you meet people. But I'm still able to maintain some good relationships and spend quality time with them.
Until then, this lovely structure serves as a reminder of how people sleep soundly at night, and I'm about to leave for work. How fast food became your favorite restaurant, and how delicious coffee was served right next to your workstation.
I'm always grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow, and I'll work hard in the future to be a better person.

I can totally relate. Moving in in a place where you dont know anyone is scary. But it's a challenge that all of us should experience in our lifetime. The journey of being in an unknown place is exciting and frightening at the same time but it is surely worth it.
This is a great write up. It's more like an elaboration of your self-introduction. Great job Mary!
