Never Underestimate anything in life - Sanskrit Teaching

We were taught never underestimate an enemy power. That us quite true in fields of war. But in real life too we should never underestimate anything. Be it a person, taste of the food, quality of cloth. They all have certain quality or something in them that keeps them sustaining in any situation.

I have a besutiful phrases from the books of Sanskrit, that exactly convey the same message.

दरिद्रता धीरतया विराजते

कुवस्त्रता शुभ्रतया विराजते|

कदन्नता चोष्नतया विराजते

कुरूपता शीलतया विराजते||

Daridrataa dheeratayaa viraajate
kuvastrataa shubhratayaa viraajate,
Kadannataa choshnatayaa viraajate
kuroopataa sheelataya Virajate.

Daridrataa = poverty.
Dheeratayaa = with fortitude and patience. Viraajate = appears beautiful,shines.
Kuvastrataa = shoddy and ill-fitting clothes.
Shubhratayaa = being clean and bright coloured.
kadannataa = stale and bad food. Choshnatayaa = cha + ooshnatayaa.
Cha= and.
Ooshnataya = being very hot and spicy. Kuroopataa = ugliness.
Sheelatayaa = by virtuousness.

If a person possesses fortitude and patience, he shines in the society even though he may be poor. Shoddy and ill-fitting clothes look beautiful if they are clean and bright coloured. Bad and stale food looks beautiful if it is hot and spicy,and an ugly person is also revered in society due to his virtuousness.

This makes it important to value everybody presence and never make anyone or anything feel low. Everything requires proper recognition.
