Happy Thursday my precious people 🤗 I wish that this week is closing well and successfully for everyone.

I tell you that recently my love and I were in the city doing several pending things. One of the days we made a stop at noon so we could have some lunch and then continue with our full errands. Sometimes choosing where to eat is not easy, as we are always looking for the best option we can and that is not too expensive.

We were happy to find a Chinese restaurant in the center of the city. My mom had already told me about it and I wanted to visit it. She told me it was inexpensive and they served enough food. And so it was.

When we entered we chose a table and immediately a girl came to offer the menu. The prices vary from 5 to 6 $ approximately and the plate can bring rice, lumpia and chop suey or rice, sweet chicken and fries. It's always three servings of something. Also, each dish you choose comes with a drink and a French bread.

My husband and I chose rice, sweet chicken and fries this time because we wanted to try the chicken and have fries which we love.

The rice was well cooked and loose, the fries were crispy and the chicken was coated with a flour mixture that gave it a tasty touch.

The portion was really good. With only one plate we ate the two of us until we were full and there was still enough for a third one.

We spent some time there talking about the things we still had to do and the things we had already done. We also took the opportunity to cool off, as it was very hot outside. 💜

Les cuento que hace poco mi amor y yo estuvimos en la ciudad haciendo varias cositas pendientes. Uno de los días hicimos una parada al mediodía para poder almorzar algo y luego seguir con nuestras full diligencias. A veces elegir donde comer no es fácil, pues siempre buscamos la mejor opción que se pueda y que no sea muy caro.

Nos alegró encontrar un restaurante de comida china que está en pleno centro de la ciudad. Mi mamá ya me había hablado de él y yo tenía ganas de visitarlo. Ella me dijo que era económico y servían suficiente comida. Y así fue.

Al entrar elegimos la mesa y de inmediato una muchacha viene a ofrecer el menú. Los precios varían de 5 a 6 $ aproximadamente y el plato puede traer arroz, lumpia y chop suey o arroz, pollo dulce y papas fritas. Siempre son tres raciones de algo. Además, cada plato que elijas viene con una bebida y un pan francés.

Mi esposo y yo elegimos esta vez arroz, pollo dulce y papas fritas porque queríamos probar el pollo y comer papas fritas que nos encantan.

El arroz estaba bien cocido y sueltecito, las papas fritas estaban crujientes y el pollo lo recubrieron con una mezcla de harina que le deba un toque sabroso.

De verdad la ración es buena. Con un solo plato comimos los dos hasta quedar full y todavía quedaba como para que comiera un tercero.

Estuvimos un rato allí hablando de las cosas que nos quedaban por hacer y las que ya habíamos hecho. Y así aprovechamos también de refrescarnos, pues el calor afuera era muy fuerte. 💜
