At the very heart of the eternal city of Rome lies Castel Sant' Angelo, a very historical annex of the Saint Peter's Basilica that became the secure refuge of the Pope in an event of any form of attack. Situated few meters away from the Basilica where an acquiduct was built towards the castle (acquiducts main purpose was not just to bring water but to act as decoy for an access towards the castle).
