So many years back when i was in secondary school, i knew nothing about cryptocurrency, i didn't even know what a blockchain was talk more of decentralisation or web 3 to put it short, i was a complete nerd in crypto space.

I can still recall vividly when i first heard about the word Bitcoin in my secondary school and all the hype that my friends hyped saying, "if you have Bitcoin you are a millionaire and so on and so forth" but, i never had a clear understanding of that term Bitcoin, didn't even know how people could get it or own a part of it. Yes that's a complete nerd in the crypto space.

Few years later i began to hunt airdrops after having some basic knowledge about crypto currency and i hunted for over two to three years before i met hive and now hive has really solidified my knowledge, story and also my background on cryptocurrency.

Some of the hinges i've learnt new under the ethics of cryptocurrency is the crypto slangs and abbreviations used in communications. Words like,

• The bull and bear markets
• knowing what an initial coin offering is (ICO) an co (IDO)
• understanding more about a blockchain and how it operates
• tracing your or any transactions on the chain
• how market capitalisation influences the price of a token in respect to its circulating or total supply
• understanding tokenomics
• knowing the uniqueness of web 3.0
• understanding how a decentralised and centralised exchanges (DEX & CEX) operate and how they also influence the token and it's price with etcetera and more etcetera.

Along side all of these, i also understood how money came into form and the essence of building trust for a token and that is how money was seen as a legal tender for exchange of goods and services instead of physical gold.

The list of my new knowledge gained on the crypto space goes on and on including most of the crypto slangs and abbreviations like FUD,NFT's and etcetera.
The crypto space is indeed a school on its own and we need to go through so many of its lessons in other to understand making smart moves and decision that will make us sail through swiftly.

Some other good knowledge i've gained on the crypto space is making a good investment and knowing the right tokens to invest your money because not every token that runs on the blockchain is a good investment token for investors, i now know profitable tokens based on the amount and number of utilities they carry.

In general to summarise it all, all of these lessons wouldn't have been so possible for me without the diversity of the hive platform and it's utilities that are available. Learning more from great tokenomics enthusiasts from a space like the Leo finance.

Hive made me learn so much about cryptocurrency and also gave me the platform to explore, build and invest to my own likeness.
