(ENG/SPA) Fate/Grand Order Babylonia an anime that unites Mesopotamian and Aztec cultures
Si eres fan de civilizaciones antiguas en las cuales podemos mencionar algunas como la cultura Sumeria, Babilónica que vivieron en Mesopotamia o de la civilización Azteca que gobernó toda Mesoamérica durante muchos siglos, Fate/Grand Order Babylonia es para ti porque toma elementos tan imponentes como los dioses de esas culturas para formar su historia donde Quetzalcóatl queda en lo mas alto del Olimpo de Deidades Mundial, quede completamente enamorado de ella.
Fate/Grand Order Babylonia toma una ligera inspiración en algunos dioses del Olimpo Mundial, agradezco ese detalle que se toma este anime para inspirarse y armar su trama porque así puede despertar la curiosidad en espectadores jóvenes y niños que no conocen de estas civilizaciones que en realidad existieron y aunque lo presentado en la adaptación es una muy mínima parte, yo logro captar las referencias que mejoran mi experiencia al ver el anime.
If you are a fan of ancient civilizations in which we can mention some like the Sumerian and Babylonian cultures that lived in Mesopotamia or the Aztec civilization that ruled Mesoamerica for many centuries, Fate/Grand Order Babylonia is for you because it takes elements as imposing as the gods of those cultures to form its story where Quetzalcoatl is at the top of the Olympus of World Deities, I was completely in love with her.
Fate/Grand Order Babylonia takes a slight inspiration in some gods of the World Olympus, I appreciate this detail that this anime takes to inspire and build its plot because it can arouse curiosity in young viewers and children who do not know of these civilizations that actually existed and although what is presented in the adaptation is a very minimal part, I manage to capture the references that improve my experience watching the anime.
Para poder reseñar este anime planteare tres aspectos que son los siguientes:
- Forma parte del Multiverso FATE:
Esta considero puede ser la razón de mayor peso porque para el público que consume anime es conocido para muchos Fate/Stay Night, una historia que nace en videojuegos y que al ser tan popular, se volvió anime y en su gran recorrido se ha vuelto todo un multiverso donde Fate/Grand Order forma parte de el.
Yo soy fan de Fate/Stay Night que es el primer Fate, lo vi en mis tiempos de Universidad y disfrute de su enredada historia en todas las versiones que salió entonces me sorprendió doble este anime porque entra dentro de este universo Fate que me encanta y que se ha expandido notablemente, de hecho para poder entender toda su cronología no esta fácil pero este anime garantizo se puede disfrutar de manera individual sin haber visto ningún Fate anterior.
In order to review this anime I will raise three aspects which are the following:
- It is part of the FATE Multiverse:
This I consider may be the most important reason because for the public that consumes anime is known to many Fate/Stay Night, a story that was born in video games and that being so popular, became anime and in its great journey has become a whole multiverse where Fate/Grand Order is part of it.
I am a fan of Fate/Stay Night which is the first Fate, I saw it in my college days and enjoyed its tangled history in all the versions that came out so I was doubly surprised by this anime because it enters into this Fate universe that I love and that has expanded significantly, in fact to understand all its chronology is not easy but this anime I guarantee you can enjoy individually without having seen any previous Fate.
- El Agregado de Las Culturas Azteca y Mesopotámica:
Los animes en esencia se inspiran de la cultura japonesa o al menos muestran mucho de elementos en Asia, por eso resalto a mi vista cuando noto que en este anime empiezan a salir nombres de personajes deidades que reconozco de inmediato son ajenos a Asia porque se inspiran en Dioses de otras culturas, unas que he estudiado desde hace ya varios años.
Desde la Universidad he estudiado a los Sumerios y Babilónicos los cuales tienen un Olimpo de dioses bastante amplio con nombres y batallas que cautivan, una de sus diosas de poder se llama Ishtar, grata es la sorpresa para mi cuando veo un personaje en este anime que se inspira en ella y visualmente también en un personaje de poder en Fate/Stay Night llamado Rin Tohsaka.
- The Aggregate of Aztec and Mesopotamian Cultures:
Anime in essence are inspired by Japanese culture or at least show a lot of elements in Asia, that's why it stands out to my eyes when I notice that in this anime begin to appear names of deity characters that I immediately recognize are foreign to Asia because they are inspired by Gods of other cultures, ones that I have studied for several years now.
Since college I have studied the Sumerians and Babylonians who have a wide Olympus of gods with names and battles that captivate, one of their goddesses of power is called Ishtar, pleasant is the surprise for me when I see a character in this anime that is inspired by her and visually also in a character of power in Fate / Stay Night called Rin Tohsaka.
- La Personalidad de Quetzaltcóatl:
Muchos serán fans Fate, pocos serán fans de Dioses y culturas antiguas pero la mayor razón para ver este anime no la conoces y se llama Quetzalcóatl el cual es un personaje inspirado en el Dios Azteca mas poderoso el cual ha sido adaptado para la obra con una personalidad aplastante en picardía, jocosidad sin caer en ser un chiste, se mantiene magnifica, solidad como una Diosa.
Noto como espectador que un autor mima un personaje cuando le da la mejor presentación, fíjense que a los villanos no los he nombrado porque Quetzalcóatl deja el anime en lo mas alto, de hecho escribiendo sobre ella y quiero volver a ver sus capítulos, es una maravilla de personaje que se pasea entre hablar español e ingles y lo hace con una naturalidad, una espontaneidad que pocas veces he visto.
Su diseño esta inspirado en los Aztecas o culturas Mesoamericanas, quizá se una de las primeras personajes que veas con este tono o inspiración, su sombrero es lo que considero es mas llamativo y a pesar de ser muy estrafalario, le queda bien, se ve tan linda con sus piercing aztecas y a pesar de lucir delgada es muy fuerte, como no serlo si representa al Dios mas poderoso en Mesoamérica llamado Quetzalcóatl cuyo equivalente griego es Hércules para que se den una idea con un personaje mas conocido.
Quede Enamorado de Quetzalcóatl, es preciosa y que VIVA MÉXICO y los AZTECAS
Dedicado todos y cada uno de mis post y videos a mi perrita llamada princesa que la llamábamos chiquito que ya no está con nosotros pero desde el cielo verá que su existencia SI fue valiosa y lo más hermoso que existirá en mi corazón y alma.
- The Personality of Quetzalcoatl:
Many will be Fate fans, few will be fans of Gods and ancient cultures but the biggest reason to watch this anime you do not know and it is called Quetzalcoatl which is a character inspired by the most powerful Aztec God which has been adapted for the work with an overwhelming personality in mischief, jocosity without falling into being a joke, it remains magnificent, solitude as a Goddess.
I notice as a viewer that an author pampers a character when he gives her the best presentation, notice that I have not named the villains because Quetzalcoatl leaves the anime at the top, in fact writing about her and I want to see her chapters again, she is a wonderful character who walks between speaking Spanish and English and does it with a naturalness, a spontaneity that I have rarely seen.
Her design is inspired by the Aztec or Mesoamerican cultures, maybe she is one of the first characters you will see with this tone or inspiration, her hat is what I consider the most striking and despite being very quirky, it fits her well, she looks so cute with her Aztec piercings and despite looking thin she is very strong, how can she not be if she represents the most powerful God in Mesoamerica called Quetzalcoatl whose Greek equivalent is Hercules to give you an idea with a more known character.
I fell in love with Quetzalcoatl, she is beautiful and VIVA MEXICO and the AZTECAS.
I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.

If you like Gods, you can't tell haha well, yes, you can tell because you speak with too much passion. We can see when a character is spoiled by the author, he gives him the best participations and to many they put all the budget on top of him hahaha 😂
I remember I never wanted to watch Fate because of that mess that there were several and I didn't know where to start, plus it's hard for me to understand that kind of plots but well, that's Buhito's thing haha.
