What makes me sad?

Everyone is sad sometimes, there's no avoiding that feeling, but at least we can reduce its intensity when possible.

What makes me sad is the injustice in life.

I am sad when I see homeless people, I have given them money or bought them food.
It makes me sad when I see a skinny animal on the street, I've given them food and water when there was a store near me. But since having a toddler I have cut back on this activity because I fear for the safety of my child. I can't predict the reaction of an animal I approach, it might get scared of me, start barking and scare my boy, not knowing what the consequences of that might be.
I do not like it when they have made a report on TV that they are raising the salaries of ministers and various MPs by 50%, and in the next report, they say that pensions are staying the same this semester or that they have increased by an incredible 2%.
It makes me sad when various cataclysms happen somewhere in the world, as last week if I am not mistaken with the hurricane that hit the USA, or various fires destroying various timber resources. I say resources because it is not just timber that we get from trees, but much more - the oxygen that we need for our planet as a whole to exist.

There are many cases where I am powerless and can do nothing to change things. But there is always a way even a small fundraising campaign can make a difference in someone's life.

At the moment I have prepared different clothes that are new but washed several times because I don't know what people have touched them in different shops and I am preparing them for donation. If I am not able to give them to someone personally, I will send them to the Red Cross, where they will be able to give them to someone who will need them.
