He counted the bundle of banknotes with an unconcerned face. Time didn't seem to matter to him, much less the unsettling gaze of his buyer. They both knew they were playing a dangerous game, but in the name of science and riches, they were willing to risk it. Soon, sirens could be heard in that abandoned car park. The buyer was scared out of his wits. The seller threw the box with the samples at him along with the expression "every man for himself" ...
Contaba el fardo de billetes con rostro despreocupado. Parecía que el tiempo no le importaba, mucho menos la inquietante mirada de su comprador. Ambos sabían que jugaban un juego peligroso, pero en nombre de la ciencia y de las riquezas, estaban dispuestos a arriesgarse. Pronto se escucharon sirenas en aquel estacionamiento abandonado. El comprador se asustó mucho. El vendedor le arrojó la caja con las muestras junto a la expresión “sálvese quien pueda” …

@Miguelarl, a humble epidemiological pharmacist, quickly boarded the helicopter that was waiting for him a few meters away, and fled with @lecumberre, his long-time friend and trusted pilot. Meanwhile, @josuerr29, an expert mechanic in the area, was hiding inside the trunk of an abandoned vehicle.
@miguelarl, un humilde farmaceuta epidemiológico, rápidamente subió al helicóptero que le esperaba a escasos metros, y huyó junto a @lecumberre, su amigo de siempre y piloto de confianza. Mientras, @josuerr29, un experto mecánico de la zona, se ocultaba en el interior de la maleta de un vehículo abandonado.
Las sirenas, ¿mitad ave o mitad pez? / Mermaids, half bird or half fish?
Half woman and half bird, the mermaids @emperatriz1503 and @itzchemaya enveloped the wasteland with their song, while the dark darkness of the night perpetuated time. With her wings outstretched, @mllg, queen of the mermaids of Hive Town, landed on the car where @josuerr29 lay hidden; captivated by @mllg's song, she climbed out of the boot. In her hands, she carried the samples she had just acquired.
Mitad mujer y mitad pájaro, las sirenas @emperatriz1503 y @itzchemaya envolvieron con su canto aquel terreno baldío mientras las oscuras tinieblas de la noche perpetuaban el tiempo. Con sus alas extendidas, @mllg, reina de las sirenas de Hive Town, se posa sobre el coche donde @josuerr29 yacía escondido; cautivado por el canto de @mllg, salió de la maletera. En sus manos llevaba las muestras que acababa de adquirir.

@lecumberre landed on the heliport of a Clinical Center in the city, @miguelarl quickly went down the stairs to the 9th floor, where he handed over the money to @parauri who will invest it entirely in the @mundo.autismo project, for the benefit of autistic children in Venezuela.
@lecumberre aterrizó en el helipuerto de un Centro Clínico de la ciudad, @miguelarl bajó rápidamente por las escaleras hasta el piso 9, allí entregó el dinero a @parauri quien lo invertirá íntegramente en el proyecto @mundo.autismo, a beneficio de los niños y niñas autista de Venezuela.
Sirena Reina / Queen Mermaid
For a queen, @mllg possessed a great gift, she could scan souls. @josuerr29, held in her hands the vaccine that would save her daughter @sarita, barely 10 years old, pale as milk, dying of leukemia. The queen of the mermaids asked, @emperatriz1503, to immediately take the humble mechanic to @sarita.
Para ser reina, @mllg poseía un gran don, podía escudriñar las almas. @josuerr29, tenía en sus manos la vacuna que salvaría a su hija @sarita, de apenas 10 años de edad, pálida como la leche, muriendo de leucemia. La reina de las sirenas pidió a @emperatriz1503, que inmediatamente llevara al humilde mecánico con @sarita.

So, a story that began with gangster airs, ended up being a tale of life itself. @Sarita, brimming with health, eating biscuits brought by her schoolmate @doriscova8, drinking cocoa-coconut prepared by her sister @aurodivys and watching her mum @Lanoican paint a canvas of the magical world of mermaids.
Así, una historia que empezó con aires de gánster, terminó siendo un cuento de la vida misma. @sarita, rebosante de salud, come unas galletas que trajo su compañerita de escuela @doriscova8, tomando choco-cocada preparada por su hermana @aurodivys y viendo pintar a su mamá @Lanoican un lienzo del mundo mágico de las sirenas.
