A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words - 8/13/2022 - [Mummified in time.]

Suggested image in the call

There has always been talk of the relativity of time, from the present to the past, from the present to the future, is it possible? A mummy in deep space, is the image that @xxxx brings us today so that we can expose what we see, what we feel, what we infer…

Mummified in time.

Time has corroded the canvas covering this mummified body. It seems that, during the time of the cloister, the body has undergone movements and adjustments. On the lower extremities, the bandage has been worn away due to possible rubbing.

The mummified image presents us with a pose of rest. Resting in eternity interrupted by diggers, grave robbers and stripped naked by the paleontologist after having been groped by an archaeologist.

Their privacy will be revealed, carbon 14 will tell us their approximate age, we will know their sex and certainly their race… So, are we travelling back in time without realizing it? We discern all these facts from the past with present technologies.

That body, perpetuated in time, will pass into the future, leaving a trace of the past for future generations. That mummified pose will travel in time beyond our time. We will die, from dust to dust…

I look forward to reading your interpretation. Thank you for your visit and support. If you are interested in publishing your entry, follow the link below:

At first sight, it looks like a mummy but it's not. If it comes to mummies (those who died) not much respect is shown.
Thanks for joining pic1000. 👍
