When the colors and nature starts blending with each other, the whole ambiance turns into a magical and enchanting character. The ambiance of the moment is hard to explain but the freshness and the beauty always put a magnificent impact on human psychology. I might be selfish, I often give myself priorities. t's not like I don't care about others but I give myself a priority when it comes to handling the situations.

I guess many of you already noticed thematic photoshoots of mine on my profile. I have posted a few photoshoot stories so far. I enjoy doing such thematic photoshoots, it boosts my self-confidence and I love to see myself in different attires and outlooks. Each and every photoshoot theme is different and it's very important to merge yourself with the theme because you will only get a few minutes in front of the camera to present yourself. When I first stand in front of the camera of a professional photographer, I was nervous honestly. I had no idea about the expression and body language and to deal with both at the same time. I am still learning by seeing others through my observation.

The most important fact is I always enjoy participating in such events... I most prefer outdoor spots instead of studios. Nature gives me energy and inspires me to incorporate myself into the mood.

The weather was cloudy and dark so I had no idea how the photos will turn out. It's hard to feel confident in dark weather especially for the tan skin girls like me because we often prefer the sunlight for photoshoots. The location was Chaykivka Village, near the Russian border; in the middle of nowhere. The bare atmosphere and swampy, bushy land inspired me to come up with such a colorful photo idea, yes the red smoke and that was my plan.

When I saw such barren and unornamented surrounding context, I felt like putting some colors will make the shoot perfect. The whole intention was to create a simple context into a magnificent environment.

When I shared my idea with Polina, she instantly agreed and told me to play with smoke. She gave me some instructions and she clearly mentioned that I will get only a few seconds to play with the smoke, not a minute. My concern was how to play with the smoke in such a short time, it was like "you only get one chance for the best shot."

In my mind, I pictured myself like the photos. Others were thinking it was a bad idea because people often love cool atmospheres, beautiful locations for such shoots. In fact, one was telling me that the idea of playing with smoke in such a location is a bad idea. But my thought was a simple, plain location can be interesting for photo-shoot if you play it correctly.

My expression or body language is not professional as a model and I don't want to be like that. I hold my own identity and instead of coping with someone's work, I follow my own.

I had chased freedom throughout my half of life but when I stopped hunting freedom, I got the beautiful taste of freedom in a good way. I have used my freedom wisely and have become a mature person, this is who I am now. I started my life from scratch after migration, it was like a barren land, unornamented and zero. I have struggled a lot and gradually put colors into my void life. I wish I could describe the struggle period of my life, unsolved moments, and emptiness. It took years to surround myself with colors, before that it was monochrome.

So, you see, that's why these photos are so important to me and have a significant meaning in my life.

Let's talk about the photos and moments of the shoot. I have mentioned that Polina told me I will only get a few seconds with the smoke bomb. So, the first challenge was the placement of the smoke. I have never worked with smoke before and to be honest the burning smell was kind of annoying. After the shoot I was smelling like burning ashes, a stranger might think I just survived from getting burned.

Anyway, Elena, the photographer, showed me the spot to place the smoke bomb first from where the smoke will start. She told me to walk from far away so that she can get some long shots with the smoke. I did that and then it was time for the masterpiece photo of the shoot.

After some long shots, it was time to submerge me with smoke. Also, it was the time to give a full expression of joy and appreciation. All I wanted was some joyful photos that express my life journey. Also, I had to work on body language as well. The dress was a coincidence, I was wearing my casual clothes, nothing was fancy or preplanned. I just removed my coat for the shoot, that's it. I was only thinking about my life; I had thought about how and what I feel about my current lifestyle while doing the shoot.

I had no idea what Elena was doing even was unable to see what Elena was taking. I had faith in her and at the beginning of the shot, I made her understand my concept so I had full faith in her.

I was so impressed when Elena gave me the photos, I was not expecting such a great outcome. I mean I had the concept, I had a picture in my mind but these photos come out beyond my expectation. I must say Elena has done a great job as a professional and this one is one of my favorite photo series. An individual's personality sometimes can be understood through a photo and these photos express me, I can relate my identity with these photos.
